I'm running 64 bit Win 11 Pro Version 21H2 OS Build 22000.1219 and Firefox 107.0, and the first time I click to open Firefox, I receive message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". If I clear the error box and click again, Firefox comes up normally. This happens every time I bring up Firefox. It's not a show-stopper, but very annoying.

Mozilla makes it so difficult to use its features- for example I find nothing that says Restore Previous Session. I went to the stuck of three lines at the top right and went to hisotry, click on recently closed window and absolutely nothing came back.

Mozilla people lies too much and cares nothing about good communications, awesome instructions  and technical support.

I lost a month of work

My bank sometimes gives me errors when logging in using foxfire. It does not when I use chrome. Sometimes after a while it corrects itself. Sometimes I have to reboot. What can I do as a standard fix of this problem, other than switching to chrome?

How can I search my History for websites I visited using Firefox b/t Feb. 8-16, 2022 (older than 6 months)? I'm trying desperately to retrace my steps on these days to resolve an issue at work.

Please let me know if anyone has any questions.

Firefox quit and I restarted the application with all previous browsing tabs. Unfortunately, for some reason, all of my bookmarks (50+) are gone and I cannot find a way to get them back. I do not think I am usually signed into a Firefox account.

Please any help would be much appreciated. I do not recall all the things I've bookmarked.

About once a week typing away I get FF developer mode. I know F12 toggles it off and on, but I am no where near that, there must be a combination of keys that launches it. Any advice? Its just a pain not worth turning if off for good.

Hello, I would like to point out that the window or the password for accessing the mozilla firefox browser can be circumvented simply by selecting the "Cancel" button or by clicking on the red cross.

In other words it is useless, whereas before it worked perfectly.

In the old version you rendered tables correctly - MS-IE and Edge did not. In the present version you have - mysteriously - inherited their error - how has that happened?  There is one table pr letter in the alphabeth, only letter S goes wrong.

Iam using Windows 7 on my Laptop and I have constant flickering on the screen. There seems to be many users who have complained about this. Why is Firefox not taking any steps to solve the problem?

Firefox don't wait for someone in the community to solve this. Please depute your engineers and address this issue

recently installed new dell inspiron 3880 with windows 10. current canon mp280 printer worked normally. few days later microsoft offered an upgrade to windows 11 which I took. printer still works normally on google chrome, but when I try to print on firefox, I get a pop-up saying 'save print output as' on the top and requesting a file name on the bottom. downloaded the latest driver from canon. no improvement. how can I get the printer to work on firefox?

During an initial visit to slashdot.org Firefox hangs for approx 45 seconds while the status bar says "looked up a.fsdn.com." Subsequent visits during the same browser session load promptly.

This is with Preferences -> General -> Network Settings -> Enable DNS over HTTPS -> Cloudfare or NextDNS. With Firefox DoH disabled the problem is not present. [Interesting side, the machine's systemwide DNS settings are configured for Cloudfare 1.1.1.1 ]

AFAIK all other sites load normally. I've been using the Firefox DOH for several months with only the above site as a problem.

Ideas?

Environment: Firefox desktop 106.x and 107.x macOS 10.13.6 The problem is present in "Troubleshoot Mode" when Firefox DOH is enabled.

In Windows task manager, it shows Firefox using 863.9MG (it was up to 1,4485.6MB a while ago) of memory with 17 Firefox files listed under the Firefox heading. What is this? Why is it using so much memory?
