Just wanted to say thank you for ruining my day, and my life all together with the new update (which installed itself without me asking) and now everything is gone and i have to memorize what tabs i was working with and open them one by one - moreover, I've disabled all the add-ons that block the ads so it's a very nice experience BESIDE firefox is still crashing. And on a side note, all my settings are gone and I'm trying to get it back to what it was before the update. Thank you.

Hello. I have an online bookstore that links through Amazon in order to allow my visitors to purchase my books. With my latest book entry (not the dozen others from the past) I am suddenly gettting this error message (SEE ATTACHED FILE) below about embedded links. Is there a way I can get a workaround? I am also sending this request to my hosting site (Squarespace) to see if they have a workaround. The odd part is my other dozen books, which were linked many years ago, do not display this error when their embedded link is clicked.

Clicking to open a tab browsing usually results in about:blank appearing on the task bar. This always occurs in a gmail page. In addition, some websites are very slow to open.

Version 105 did not install and get my accounts and passwords from the previous version? This is not a good update! And your help does not HELP!

Why did the Ubuntu update delete all of Firefox (I will also ask on Ubuntu forum)?

I have to login every time I click on a bookmark. I reached out to the NYT help desk; the tech said I should use Chrome. I'm a dedicated Mozilla user; I contribute when asked, so the NYT kind of offended me. I did clear my cache, to no avail. Still have to log in every time. Can you pls help?

Two days ago I tried to log into my Facebook account of several years and was told my email address was not connected to the account. Having tried every which way possible to log in I simply cannot . Now I am being treated like a criminal by Facebook. Their website suggests I contact my emil provider hence this mail.

why is there a blue live on top the window? i don't know what kind of mentality you guys have but its really doesn't fit with rest of the UI and its look old.

is there a option of remove this?

Using the latest version on my 5 y/o windows laptop (as of Sept 18th) and the laptop went totally black, the system could not be booted so I went to a PC repair shop. Technician said its problem is that the SSD is too old and a new laptop is recommended.

I use Firefox since day 1 of that laptop and after a long time I forgot the password. Now I have my new PC and need data from my old Firefox account (not this one), including bookmarks, passwords and read lists.

What to do???

Firefox 105.90.1 tabs keep crashing, and other sites won't load. They will load if I close then open Firefox again. First time I've ever had this kind of problem. Can you help? I've tries the solutions listed on help site, but nothing seems to work.

In JavaScript I did addEventListener('storage', ...), and it's working fine as long as I use localStorage.setItem(), .removeItem(), or .clear(). However, when I use the "Clear Data..." button under "Settings | Privacy and Security" it seems the event does not fire. I noticed that in Chrome the corresponding settings option to clear all data does fire the storage listener, and this is the behavior I'm looking for.

All of a sudden, I keep getting a small window that pops up and wants my Primary Password. I have changed it three times and the Firefox says the change took place each time. Then, the pop up comes and I fill in my password and it pops up again and again and again and again. How do I get rid of this? It's driving me nuts!!!

I have set Firefox to delete every cookie when I exit. However some websites use cookies for dark mode. My question is this : can I make it so Firefox continues to delete every cookie but save only some specific cookies For exemple, linkedin uses a dozen of cookies and two of them are used to store value for dark mode. Can i save only those two ?

I have Firefox 105.0.1 on Windows 10 Pro and I cannot import Logins and Passwords from a file. Even with the signon property to TRUE, the passwords just don't populate. Is there something else I should be doing, or is there a fix for this. I have quite a few users to migrate and creating Firefox accounts to sync passwords is not preferable with users who need a lot of hand-holding. Thanks!

Hi! I have an issue where my Firefox is opening multiple processes in my task manager. I am used to seeing 7, sometimes up to twelve if I have a bunch of tabs open, but for the last week it has now been spiking anywhere up to 25-30 being open in the task manager (and I will usually at the very most have 5 to 7 tabs open-TOPS!). My memory has been spiking to upwards to 30%, which is causing a slow down in my machine.

I have tried to shut down any extensions that I thought were causing the issue (Ghostery among them), but nothing changed.  I recently put Ghostery back on, and am about to try turning off Adblocker plus.  

When I looked at if I had any other hidden extensions, I saw that I have DuckDuckgo? ebay? and Bing? apparently on the extensions, but when I go into Firefox to remove them, they don't show up in the lists to turn off and on (I don't even use any of those as far as I know, so I don't know why they are even there).

I use Avast antivirus, and it hasn't indicated that there is any virus, but then again, I suppose a good virus would know the work around.

I am not really computer savvy, so perhaps I am making a mountain out of a molehill? If not, please help. This is very frustrating seeing so much memory go to Firefox!
