Hi Firefox,

I'm a native speaker of Hindi and wanted to volunteer at Mozilla's to translate/localize terms in Hindi.

I tried to access the two links given on your contributor page, but those two urls give 404 not found error messages. Here're the links I'm trying to open to join the contributor's group.

1. Any new contributor wants to join Hindi, can join mailing lists of [https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-l10n-hi Hindi Mailing List] and also join Mozilla L10N

How do I volunteer at Mozilla to do translation work in Hindi?

Thanks for your time.

Firefox forces HTTPS for web sites, even if this option is disabled in settings

Installed version: 104.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10, current as of this instant date.

Ref: This question was asked previously at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1341115] about a year ago with no replies or answers.

Issue: I am attempting to access a flight-sim site, http://forum.ivao.aero, and due to the way the site is set up, they refuse to accept https connections. (I know, stupid, but don't bark at me about it. . .)

My problem is that, in settings, I have the preference for enforcing https turned off - yet no matter what I try, it ALWAYS converts it to a HTTPS request.

Trying the same site in Chrome works as expected - though Chrome does get a bit fussy - however, once you reassure it that you haven't lost your mind, it lets you view the site. . . (wink!)

Firefox, on the other hand absolutely REFUSES to allow HTTP requests, which is fatal. Not only for this, but for certain things I do with in-house robotics experiments that are http by default and won't change any time soon.

How do I fix this? Is it even POSSIBLE to fix, or is Mozilla going to assume that everyone is using https and everyone else can go pound sand?

Hello, all:

I thought I could try posting here about finding a reliable tab management extension for Firefox or a program so I can sync the open pinned tabs I have on my laptops and phone with each other so I can be sure to refer to certain tabs when I'm not home or something outside of trying different extensions to see if it'll be done. That way, I can know I can be able to refer to what I need to find rather than having to go home to look on my laptop if I'm not home or something. Thank you in advance if you reply to this.

Every year or so I try to switch to Firefox but always have trouble with basic website access - FF is simply unreliable with accessing random websites, problems that I never experience with any other browser.. Tried today - downloaded, fresh install, new profile, the only extension is 1password. Able to log into Amazon.com no problem, but harbor freight simply doesn't load. Open up Edge and it loads immediately.

I tried troubleshooting mode, no luck. I'm using Win 11, FF 104.0.1 64bit on Dell XPS 15.

What am I doing wrong here? THanks

Skysports.com always asks me to select cookie options. Allow or View options and reject. I always choose the second one. The problem is. I can never choose the options. Opera browser, a better browser than this one, shows the options and allows me to choose. Sky just shows the same box every single page and I have to go through the same sequence every time.

I have tried every solution I can find to restore tab separators for 104.0.1—no luck at all. This includes modifying userChrome.css, which is enabled in about:config. I feel bad about having to bring this up, as it seems to have been well-discussed already. But I'm pretty much at wit's end. Maybe I missed something? Hoping to stick with FF, which I've been using for many years. The run-together tabs are a real tough one, though.

My sign-in sync panel holds on to two pages. I have cleared history, clicked on them, searched for them in history, signed out, signed back in, searched for sync panel help links -- there they stay. And there I want them gone. Help links address the usual things but not this, to my knowledge. How to delete *that* history?
