Cannot prevent intrusive unwanted video on some pages; notably, CTV.ca which has an annoying widget which autoplays constantly and blockers are not effective, neither is video.autoplay.default=5 That USED to be the default no-fail go-to, now it has no effect whatsoever and I'm stymied in my attempts to block this stuff. What's next? How do i do this?

Hello, while using the Firefox browser links, commands and selecting of tabs keep being activated by simply hovering over. Is there a way to disable that? I have it disabled on my computer commands and it only happens on Firefox.

It’s driving me nuts and in some cases it has fired up actions that could be problematic like prompting emails to send etc.

I have an issue with the address bar in private windows. Normally when you click on the search bar in the new tab page, it will redirect the cursor to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar.

I found the following solution on the forum here that works for normal windows: go to the about:config page and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

For private windows, this fix does not work. It will still go to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar. Is there another way for me to fix this so that it will also work in private windows?

I would like to know how I can middle click with my scroll wheel to open a bookmark in a new tab, but not be dumped straight into that new tab. I like opening multiple tabs at once before going into them.

I have attempted to follow published instructions on how to manage extensions but the steps described are completely wrong. When I click the extensions icon, it opens the add-ons tab (does not present a list of extensions). There is no "gear" next to any of my extensions; just the on/off button and the .... button.

How can I force an extension to show on the toolbar?

Firefox is up to date (version 120.0).

I'm having an issue with Fidelity Investments website logging me off after 5-10 minutes of inactivity. Before Fidelity's website redesign, I could go at least 30 minutes or more without having to login again. It seems now I have to login constantly.

I have contacted Fidelity, but the said it was a Firefox issue, however, I cannot find any information about this issue (or I don't know where to look).

How do I extend the time before needing to login again? Thoughts on if is this even a Firefox issue or is it Fidelity's website?

I'm using Firefox for Windows and usually have a few set pages that appear every time I open a new window. Every now and again, I have to add, remove, or change one of these pages. The issue is that I have to see something like this whenever I want to change anything.

Naturally, whenever I open a new window in Firefox, this is automatically interpreted to open multiple pages. However, this way of displaying them is still inconvenient. I want to know if we can get something more like this.

Is there a way to edit the Settings UI to see a multi-line list with the ability to add, remove, or change these links individually? Thank you.

When I have sent an email, it is not seen in 'all mails' nor 'sent emails', it is attached to a thread, when I open the thread, I have to go through many 'header' emails to find it at the bottom. Why is my last email NOT in 'sent', not in 'all mail' - or if it is on the thread, not seen at the TOP, displayed, ready to reply. Sending me nuts. Please advise how I can customize - to see the emails sent and received in REAL time. Currently my sent mail has so few in the folder. How can I stop this. I want All Mail and Sent mail, at the time I sent them. Not buried, Not as threads. I have tried removing threads, and it think it wants to delete them, I don't want that.

I just had to clean install Firefox after having problems. I've pretty much set it up how I want it, except when I quit Firefox and then re-open it all the tabs come back. Which I don't want. The box in the settings page for opening with previous session is unchecked. What else am I missing? I re-started my computer just in case that was an issue but the problem continues. Thanks

Is there a way for me to make custom JavaScript code to add things, like a built-in music player, to Firefox? I think it would be pretty neat if users could code their own things to add to Firefox.

I am running Windows 10 Enterprise version on my desktop.

The same video on Facebook plays perfectly on Chrome but the sound is muted when it is played on Firefox. It happens only recently.

Is there some control features that I should turn on or turn off somewhere so that I can continue to use Facebook a usual on my Desk top.

I use firefox as my browser(I like it the best) I have edge on my computer because I upgraded to windows 10. I really dislike microsoft edge. I recently downloaded a couple of pdf's , in the settings it says that firefox opens the pdf. then I click on the pdf and when it opens it has a button that wants me to put edge as the default reader and so I go to the settings on firefox and it says that firefox is the reader tat opens the pdf but their is no way to make firefox my default pdf. it is really frustrating, as I said I really do not like the edge browser. Is there any way that this is fixed? thank you for your help!
