For the last 1 year, Firefox has been reliably crashing on my machine (M1, macOS Monterey, Version 12.0.1) after a undefined period of use from the time I start up my computer. Sometimes is an hour, sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes it can last the whole day. Once it happens, it will first lose internet connection, none of the sites would load, then the only thing I can try to do is to quit it. But Force quitting or pkill -f Firefox on terminal does not entirely quit it even though the window is closed, some process is still running that prevents it from really quitting. In about 50% of the time, this crash will then spread to my entire computer, and I have to press and hold the power button to restart. This cycle will repeat a few times a day. Its completely debilitating. I have tried uninstalling (including removing all library files), reinstalling newest version, upgrading my OS etc. Problem will go away for a few days and then will slowly creep back. Happy to provide any info that you need for diagnosis.

Om Macos 12.7.3 Monterey using FF 115.7.0esr (64-bit). Been using FF since God knows when. All well. But a couple of months ago windows or tabs are crashing. When I'm hitting a link and either holding Cmnd or right click "open in new tab" in order to get the linked page in new tab, the tab/window I'm using shuts down. Poof.

2 questions

1.: How to build a web page, that enables FF's reader view?

2.: Is it possible, to customize the reader view to include the full URL instead the domain name only?

I have forgotten my password and cannot reset it. When I click on "Sign in" my only choice is Enter Your Primary Password. I have forgotten my Primary Password. Using Firefox 122.0

I am not computer savvy as a warning. I have Firefox as my browser. I am having trouble because my email Yahoo and other situations are not working right because they say, " 'Java Script' is not enabled." I did not even know what Java Script was. How do I enable Java Script or what is a substitute that Firefox recommends that will work like Java Script? Thank you

Bitdefender blocks Firefox from accessing cloudfront.net..calling it a suspicious site. The connection attempts happen constantly... quite a nuisance. I hesitate to put this site on an exception list without knowing more about it.

Firefox Settings/Help/About failed to show most recent version of Firefox. I downloaded and re-installed to get Version 122 but now I have two entries in Windows 10 App. One is dated 2022 (probably the original 32 bit version) and the other is dated today. Can I safely delete the older entry?

Dear Friends at Firefox,

There is only one reason that i'm using Firefox less and less ; because of the download files options. When i choose the option to download to a particular location, inspite of that, most files get down loaded to the firefox download folder and i always have to go there and then copy or move it out to a location desired.

There is no easily vavilable info about that.

Would request some info and help for the same. i have tried all that i could from the current browzer settings and it has not helped.

Been a loyal fan of Firefox and would love to have this resolved.

It used to be that all ticked device settings in Edit Mode, standard and custom, are selectable in Web Developer Tools / Responsive Design Mode. Before, the cursor, indicated by the blue outlined box as shown in the attached screen shot, wraps around the list of devices to show the other hidden device settings. But now, the cursor just wraps but the values in the list do not adjust to show the other device setting that are available to be selected.

I don't know if I unknowingly, did something that triggered the lost functionality mentioned above.

How could I restore this lost functionality so that I could test my website in all the device settings that I have checked in the Edit mode?

When I try to access my premium relay dashboard, I am taken to the free option and asked if I want to upgrade to premium..... I have been a premium customer for 2 yeras? Can you help/advise please? Tim

Since the last upgrade of firefox to version 125 we cannot download anything anymore from our internal servers using firefox. At first the download is blocked because of an insecure source (but the server is on our internal LAN). Then when we choose to allow it anyway, the file always is corrupted. That means we cannot save any report results anymore.

I already tried to uninstall firefox and install an earlier version (124) but the result was the same.

Please help to solve this issue asap

I want to convert a pdf file that I mistakenly had to generate when I deleted the original file. I want to convert the pdf sheet back to a Word doc so I can edit it.

How do I make a new Profile on my Mac? I followed these instructions, but couldn't find the Profile manager,

I'd like to turn off the recommended articles that I see when opening new tabs. I find them to be quite bothersome, and the link pocket provides to learn more about this features a nonexistent article on how to disable these recommendations. Could you help me disable these?

I've been seeing the black embed icon appear when I select text. It's only been recent. My browser is 125.02 and up to date and I have Windows 11.

Is this from a recent update? I'd like to disable it if possible.
