browser bar is striped pink and gray... I have tried EVERYTHING!!!!! It is too hard to read. I have done all the about:config, I have reinstalled multiple times- always come back. I am at my wits end.

I am experiencing delayed reaction in the Firefox browser. I'm currently using Firefox Browser version 104.0.2 (64 bit) and Windows 11 Home (64 bit). When in the browser, all actions are delayed. This includes typing, scrolling, hovering/highlighting, selecting, etc. The delay appears to be a cyclical process. For example, as I'm typing a sentence one or two letters appear, then it pauses for a second or two, then more letters appear, then a pause again, etc. The same type of cycle happens with scrolling and other functions. I have tried two other browsers on the same system without any similar delay. I have seen posts of similar problems dating back many years, and while some fixes were recommended, either the underlying problems were corrected in subsequent versions or the fix action is to a setting that is no longer part of the Firefox system. Please help.

When I close a tab, sometimes it crashes. I tried with `-safe-mode` and the error persists. Let me know if I can add more information.

[Firefox 104.0.2 Linux 64x] Memory leak when Ctrl+S

After Ctrl + S, hundreds save dialog shows up and stack together. You can see the shadow effect on the edge of the dialog box is darkened due to stacking of the dialog boxes. CPU usage will jump to 110%.

Not sure what causes this...

When I update my website, It is unable to make the update public as the message that comes up tells me another website has embedded mine. How do I rectify this problem please?

When I try to drag and drop from the 'lock box' icon to the desktop, I get an anti sign (circle with a diagonal line through it). I don't know why I can't just drag it to my desktop like I did in the past.

I've tried every help article/topic I could find and it still wont work!

My Bookmarks are missing from the side of my screen where they have been residing for almost ever. I have tried everything to get them back where they belong to no avail. I surely hope that someone can help me get them back. Thank you.

Ctrl + T no longer opens a new tab, but instead brings me to the third tab I have open. If I have less than 3 tabs open, it either does nothing (for one tab) or brings me to the second/third (for two or three tabs). Other keyboard shortcuts are not glitched like this. Why is this happening and how I can fix it?

I have already reinstalled Firefox and restarted my computer, but neither of those have done anything.

WHY do you strip my FireFox every 4 times I update? Sooner or later I will get tired of this circle jerk. Put my FireFox back like I run it, you try and try to have me run a generic Browser, when they do me no good, trying to mine my data is futile, as we show time after time. In the last few versions of Firefox the "Always ask you where to save files" does not work properly. Sometimes it asks, sometimes it automatically downloads. The majority of items I download are in PDF. Some I am asked & put on desktop to move later while some are automatically sent to Downloads folder. In Help, it says to go to Settings > General > Applications to get this to happen but under PDF I have it set to "Always ask". And Firefox is not doing this. Will this be fixed in future versions? There seem to be a lot of people that have this problem, which is basically creating work. I understand it only takes seconds to get them but over the course of time it's not efficient. I've been using Firefox for years & do not always agree with some of the changes but this one is really frustrating because it is not consistent. I only want to be able to have the where to/save as box show up when I attempt to download a PDF. Any other or real suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, JF

I can play videos and audios on another browser or files stored on my computer, but just now I cannot on Firefox. I saw the FAQ explanation about Windows 7, but I have been using Firefox for years including just hours ago using Windows 7. Why would this happen right now? Did some new version just get installed? If so, can I return to the prior version and turn off the automatic update?

When you're waiting for the website to respond, there is a very small black blob that moves backwards and forwards from left to right in the firefox browser Tab of the window you are using. It is too small especially if there are a dozen Tabs, or more.. Is there any way/Add-On to make this larger/more obvious please?

Some of the websites I commonly use randomly changed fonts. Nothing was changed in the settings, this didn't happen to all the websites, most of them are like they were before. Any tips? Is it a bug in current version?

Whenever I try to add an attachment to my Gmail message it freezes and locks up Firefox and I have to restart Firefox. I can move to another browser and it works just fine so it is a Firefox issue. Also, Firefox is very slow, especially with certain sites like Amazon, Wayfair, etc. It gets slower the longer you use those sites. I cannot even open some sites such as my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union and Etsy. I can open them on a different browser same computer. While I like that Firefox helps with privacy I think I am going to have to move to another browser as I can no longer tolerate these issues. If you have fixes, that would help. I couldn't find any on the Help search.

Hi! I had the find-it pro malware on my computer. It caused my new tab page to redirect from Firefox Home to find-it pro. I've since used Malwarebytes to remove the virus, but the redirect is still happening. It only happens when I have my new tab page set to Firefox Home, which makes me think that there's something still installed on Firefox that causes an automatic redirect. I don't see any extensions that would be causing it. Is there anything I can do that wouldn't involve refreshing my browser? I don't want to download all of my extensions again. Thanks!

There seems to be an annoying SCROLLING issue with the FACEBOOK.COM web page. It has been around a while (version 104.0 of FF here)

Google says this scrolling issue is in several browsers and is BROWSER CODING ISSUE with java script.........they mentions quik fixes like changing Facebook Font sizes..

Still,

as i gently scroll down facebook.com when logged in.......it will suddently SKIP POSTS and jitter.

THis jitter is very annoying indeed........

TRue, i have some of the FLAGS set in the config of FIREFOX and it could be some issue with those flags.....?

It could also be particular extensions of mine( in no particular order) which may be affecting things.....?

Sadly FF does not seem to offer a ------RESET TO DEFAULTS for "one pass"----- feature...... If it did offer it, users could do testing during that PASS......after which, a user could then 1) Re-start FF once again with his previuos custom settings back intact.

The only web browser i found WITHOUT this Facebook.com skipping issue is the latest OPERA Version:90.0.4480.54......... and i do indeed use the very same extensions on OPERA that i use in FF......... (so "extension issues" is unlikely to be the cause of the facebook skipping)

The questionable extensions of mine could be

1) Scrollanywhere 2) hide-scrollbars 3) and ADD BLOCKERS for youtube and twitch.

but i doubt it

The fact that FF do not seem aware of this facebook "scroll skipping issue" is embarrassing for them.

FB is one of the worlds largest web sites and FF is a "global web browser" so are millions sufferring this issue?

please look into this issue right away and if you discover it's your fault, then please sort this out right away.

i like millions of others wont use FF until this facebook issue is fixed.
