ever since i was in Portugal, and a repairman needed my phone to access our contract for a car repair, my web pages constantly show up in Portuguese. no matter what i set my page to, and it SHOWS it is set in English, i still keep getting pages opening up entirely in Portuguese..and have to work my way thru to reset it BACK to English.

what  is going on ?

As soon as I touch the mouse wheel to scroll up or down, it jumps to the bottom right cell of the page and won't go anywhere else. It's been doing it for a few days and I can't figure out what is wrong. It's this way in every sheet I have. Mouse works fine in every other program. I'm using Firefox, Win 10. There are several persons complaining about this.

Any ideas what is the problem?

I'm using the Firefox browser for Android. When I'm on Bluesky with my Android phone and go to create a post, I tap the image to upload an image. I get the post editor box on the top, the keyboard on the bottom. When I tap the image to add a photo, the keyboard disappears leaving only the box to edit the post and it doesn't go on to the next step where I would choose the image I want to upload. I'm using Firefox for Android 124.0 and a Galaxy A53 5G with One UI 6.0. Android version 14. Also, I have it set to use Spanish.

I accidentally blocklisted Tumblr - and the popup says to go to options, but when I look, there is nowhere for me to remove Tumblr from the blocklist nor can I find the blocklist itself.

On my Macbook air (m1 2020 14.3.1 (23D60)) /etc/hosts is ignored by Firefox 123

i've tried multiple offered (old) solutions from stack but non work.

FAILED ATTEMPTS:

• DNS over https -> off
• network.trr.excluded-domains ... tried to add the domains in the dns over https exeptions ... didn't work either
• added the domains to network.trr.excluded-domains
• cleared cache
• restart ff
• migrating all my /etc/hosts config from multiple domains on a single line to separate lines did. Hope this helps someone.
• network.ttr.mode = 5
• sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder in the terminal

Background: I run my own server and I cannot access them over the internet if I am on the same network (rounter dissallows this) This is annoying as I cannot develop via my laptop.

/etc/hosts is changed and in the terminal all (ssh etc...) works fine.

What is the proper way of doing this these days?

I cannot open certain emails as they say "cannot open due to popup. block popup". I cannot find where to do that. I do not use chrome, which is how the computer says to block it.

When I sign in to my bank, placing the cursor in the username box produces a number of username options, including the actual unsername and other mistyped ones from previous login efforts. I don’t want any unsername prompts. I went to Passwords in Firefox and made sure to remove the bank as a site to retain and offer such information when signing into that account. I continue to receive these username prompts. This doesn’t happen with other accounts. I cannot track down where that username information resides, how to remove it, and how to prevent Firefox from retaining this username information for this bank account.

I set up a Primary Password, but I can easily get around it by clicking 'cancel' then clicking 'home' icon. then I can get into ANY of the links. For others who have access to my computer NOT having that access is Exactly why I set up Primary password in the first place. Surely there must be a way to fix this???? haas2128@comcast.net Thanks. Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

I created an account with chat gpt with my google login. Lately, when I try to log into it using Firefox, after I click the "Continue with Google" button, I am redirected to https://www.arkoselabs.com/ !

After a few tries with the same result, I tried in chrome and had no issues accessing my account.

This one's stumpped me. I'm at a loss. Anyone else having this problem? Is it a redirect virus? Chrome is prone to the yahoo redirect virus. I'm wondering if this is similar or if there's somethin' wrong.

Add old history to new

cor-el mentioned "The only way to merge history is by using Sync".

Does "merge" mean like it sounds, to combines the content, or does it mean the latest will overwrite the oldest, or one will overwrite the other under other conditions?

Every time I open anew a page it invariable displays the page somewhere mid-way down requiring me to scroll up to the top (if page is large enough to warrant a scroll). I'd prefer every page open at the top at all times. Is there any switch in the configuration editor that would allow for this?

I want everything on my drive only. Not on cloud thru One Drive. I have tried searching but everything I find in incorrect. For example PC settings one drive etc. I can't find anything that is correct for instructions. I don't even see anything that says as a one drive option. My next question is then what happens to everything that has one drive in the path where do they go? I don't want my local information saved anywhere other than my computer not a cloud somewhere. Is this something you can direct me to where I can solve this? Thanks

It is sort in the background like a page behind the main screen I am viewing but it causes Firefox to crash. I have seen other posts say disable hardware acceleration, but mine is disabled, others say disabled extension, but I only have ublock! It is not my graphics card as it is all up to date. My laptop is new 6 months old.

When I try to login almost anywhere now, that "protect your e-mail address" prompt comes up? This prevents me from selecting saved logins. So, right now saved logins are almost useless.

How do I get saved logins to autofill like they're supposed to?
