I installed the new Windows 11 update now when I exit out of firefox "X" the next time I go to open and error tells me that firefox is running (it's not showing open and running) and I have to close.

Recently, https://www.nhlottery.com had experienced a hostile act & then shut down their site. They were super great at being transparent, etc. However, as of today, staff have reported it is up and running with no risk.

I have an account that I am unable to access due to browsers reporting security issues. I don't know what to do? Im sooooooo not a techie, but I can follow directions. Help! ST

I am in Amsterdam NL and my Mozilla Browser is recognized in Czech Republic, but I can´t connect to browse like beeing there. Two days ago there was a country list on my pc, now not to find anymore. Where is it now? please help

This ridiculous update just deleted everything on my firefox. All my book marks are gone, passwords into sites and accounts etc. EVERYTHING I had is gone. i have tried going into the "profile" folder and it says its blank. I am not an IT guru so I do not know how to follow all these insane instructions to get back what should have never been deleted. i will be deleting firefox and never using it again because some idiot decided to update my system without my approval and then it deleted everything.

What has Firefox upgraded in security setting that is blocking so many of my websites, including many that surely are harmless, like Pinterest. Have those sites been hacked, is my account compromised, what's going on? I'm not a computer whiz, so I can't follow these lengthy suggestions about which I understand not a bit.

Hi, I had to recover my computer so I was re-downloading firefox and it looked as though I was missing some bookmarks so I clicked import -> restore and restored from today, only now I only have 11 bookmarks left out of thousands and I can't figure out how or where to restore them. I don't have any backup info on this computer since I had to wipe it completely but now it seems as though whatever sync I used has been overwritten or disrupted. My bookmarks are really important to me and I really need them back, is there anything I can do to restore them?

As the title says, accidentally updated this morning. Was running version 85 pretty handily. I just want to know how to go back.

I don't care about security issues. I actually tried to revert back myself using my current profile, but it broke all of my addons. Actually, it broke my ability to reinstall them too so even if I wanted them again, I couldn't download them.

Any help is appreciated. Personally, I would prefer to have a "disable until I care about it" button.

I CHANGE MY OPERATING SYSTEM AFTER THAT I INSTALL FIREFOX AGAIN BUT MY DATA NOT SYNC I USED ALL WAYS BUT I NEED MY LAST DATA PLEASE HELP MY USER ID WORKING GOOD

I recently switched to linux and I cannot find a way to link profiles from my windows install. In an older version I could make a symbolic link in ~/.mozilla/firefox/Profiles to the profiles in /run/media but now profiles are stored in ~/.mozilla/firefox and it doesn't understand my symbolic links, how can I do this?

I have checked several times, windows, and FireFox (drivers I haven't) are all up to date; I have tried: Reinstalling, Resetting, removing all extensions and theme, each individual extension, watching videos on the private mode, downloading firefox fresh once again, etc. Nothing works, I can't play a single video on youtube through FireFox. Be it private, or not. Reddit videos do not work, Netflix does not work, everything keeps on loading, I'd like any help. I want to stay with FireFox, but I can't watch a single thing...

When I open Reddit in regular browsing mode the page loads but I cannot interact with anything at all. I cannot scroll, click buttons, or even go to other tabs or close the tab. Firefox (from what I can tell) freezes completely, the buttons to close the window and minimize it do not work either and I can only close it with task manager. I went into troubleshooting mode to try and fix it myself and it works perfectly there. I went back into regular browsing mode and disabled all my addons, but the problem happened again. After this I tried clearing my startup cache and the browser still froze. Other websites like Youtube and Twitter function normally.

Every time I open a link in firefox that is a youtube short, it opens up an entirely different short than I selected unless I am using a "full video" version of the link. I have tested this and it works fine if I copy-paste it into chrome.

Previously with chrome I had 5 links pinned to the homepage, and that was all that was there. With Firefox, I can't figure out how to disable the history mixed in with the pinned links, or change the number of links displayed. All I can find is changing the number of rows, not columns per row which would at least be good, because I could just set the grid to fill to 1x5, instead of having the current minimum count of 1x8 links.
