Went to update to 105.0.1 on a windows 8.1 machine. Update failed, removed previous version and now will not even reinstall running the installer. Installer returns setup.exe Application error. unable to start correctly.

I have an issue related to copying the address from the website. When I try to copy the Location address from the webpage [removed] it does not allow me to copy the address. I have tried many times but it does not allow me to copy the address.

Immediately following a Firefox update I began having scrolling problems on my Facebook page. I am able to scroll down normally to a point, and then, all of a sudden, the scroll bar will go up and immediately go back down without me touching the mouse. It will continue doing the up and down scrolling indefinitely and at a high rate of speed. I have tried turning off auto scroll and smooth scrolling at the browser, but no luck. I have Windows 8.1. I have never heard of anyone else having this problem so this seemed like my only option.

When I scroll to the bottom of my news feed on Facebook, the page scrolls by it's self, I'm NOT touching anything and the page scrolls up and down. been that way for a month now 8-16-22

It is hard to describe in nerd language what's happening, but I'll try in human language:

1. Firefox frequently takes forever to even begin loading websites! 2. After today's update (16-OCT-2022) search engine search fields won't accept any text! 3. Absolute slowness on Firefox, but when I try other browsers, the problem is not there.

For many years Firefox has been trouble. I keep on trying it and I end up dumping it.

Why can't Mozilla hire people who CAN do it?

Getting sick of this crap that everything has to have this BLACKNESS crap in it, 13% of the population shoved in everything, You never see Asians, or any other race now, it's always this black crap, everything in now divershittyfied.

What have you people done????????????? I upgraded to this 106.0.1 and you have DISABLED MY ABILITY TO RUN BATCH FILES ON MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY WHY WHY WHY DO I CONTINUE TO USE FIREFOX WHYWHY WHY WHY

I refreshed firefox and while refreshed it was saying browser history etc were backed up but when my tabs were restored my browser history and passwords were not appearing anymore.

After downloading the latest version of Fire Fox I cannot block email senders, delete email, or search thru my email account. I can't send a screen shot as nothing shows. There is no error message. It is just that I cannot use my Yahoo email account like I could before the download so I have had to use Chrome with my Yahoo email in order to function. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fix things? Thank you.

MP4 videos fail to play with the following error messages:

1. No video with supported format and MIME type found.
2. Video can't be played because the file is corrupt.
3. NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR (0x806e0005)
4. Error no decoder found for audio/mp4a-latm

• issue began a 1-2 weeks ago
• issue does not exist on chrome browser
• MP4 videos can be downloaded and played successfully in applications other than firefox
• other video formats play successfully in firefox
• issue persists in troubleshoot mode
• issue persists with hardware acceleration on/off
• issue persists with tracking protection on/off
• media.mp4.enabled is set to true

I have had access to the following website through Firefox for many years – no problem. Today, it comes up with the error message and reference indicated below. Nothing I do – cache clearing and the like, makes any difference. Denied access. No other website has been altered in this way. Any thoughts – is this down to you?

When visiting hulu the page is blank and takes a while when going to search bar the results do not show for a minute. It's only happening on firefox and no other browser.

Not sure which update caused the issue, since I've been delaying updates for a little while (maybe 15 days or so). Immediately after starting Firefox, the Intel graphics driver stops working, which causes Firefox to hang on a white screen. The windows warning is something close to "Intel graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered". The only way I can start Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, which solves the problem but I'd like to keep using the GPU so it's not really a good solution. So I forced Firefox to use the NVIDIA GPU (gtx 960m) on the NVIDIA control panel. This worked, Firefox starts and works as normal again but within just a few hours has already caused the NVIDIA GPU drivers to stop responding once, prompting Firefox to stop responding too and hang on a white screen. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem. This might have been a fluke but I'd like to keep using the Intel integrated GPU, if possible.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and my laptop has an i7-4720HQ (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and a GTX 960m. I'm using the latest version of Firefox 106.0.2

Any idea what might be causing the problem? I haven't had any trouble with either GPU on any other occasion

So I looked for the humor in it, but then remembered that since you "partner" with the cursed WEF, it's more likely an expression of a severe mental illness that characterizes all who "partner" with them, & thus only deranged types might find funny.

Hey !! Mozilla, I just updated ....What happened to the compact mode for Bookmarks..Now they are double spaced they take up too much room.. Bring back compact mode or I will have to find another browser that enables a compact mode. Infuriating.

I got a pop-up to download an upgraded firefox, with assurance none of my info would be lost. It took me a 2nd download to get one that would install. Did the install, and all 250+ of my bookmarks were gone!!!

I have spent a few hours in file manager, and can't find anything re: bookmarks. Where'd they go? Where are they kept in file mgr.? I'm dying here!

Very sorry now that I did the upgrade and trusted firefox.

Somebody please help................
