After updating to Firefox 71 I'm no longer able to get search suggestions from the search toolbar in a private window. Is there a way to make Firefox to allow this again in a private window?

When I open my bookmarks in a new tab, there is the search option, which will find the bookmark I am looking for.

But once I find a bookmark, I also need to know in which folder it was saved, but I can not find a way to do this.

Any help?

i can have a half dozen windows open and go back and forth between them. Ancestry just Draaaaaggggsss.. and they tell me to clear my cache - been there done that - switched to chrome, same thing. I am running win 7 and for some time now it's been say build 7601 this copy is not genuine which all started back in 2015 when I had a C: drive crash, and fixed....about a month later, here comes the message - BUT everything works fine on FF, as it should, even ancestry (SOME times)

When speaking with Intuit about their online version of QuickBooks Pro online version they always recommend Chrome as the browser to use. I would like to use Firefox. Are there any known issues?

How do I get rid of StartPage : https://www.startpage.com when I search. Also no matter if I place 'Amazon' as not wanted it always appears.

I have been using same printer set up for many months then all of the sudden web page narrows when I hit print.....Does not happens with MS Edge browser print command.

I recently migrated Firefox profiles and general files from Windows 7 computer to a new Windows 10 computer. However my Pdf files created on my old computer open up via the Edge app. on the new one. I want to use the Firefox viewer but am not even able to make the Firefox app. the default. Any suggestions anyone?

In Firefox, old browsing history will be deleted if you visit the same web page again. For instance, I may browse https://www.facebook.com everyday, but there is only one history of https://www.facebook.com. I hope I can see my full browsing history, not just the most recent ones.

In the Firefox support of "Import bookmarks from Google Chrome" it says to "Click the Library button [57 library icon] , then click Bookmarks. Scroll to the bottom and click Show all Bookmarks." The "Show all Bookmarks" does not appear! Current browser version is 71.0 (64 bit) using Win10 Pro. How can I continue?

I am a new apple user. I have the Catalina OS. Most current version. I have talked to apple...they tell me to use safari. I like firefox. Now, my issue. When I am on a web pags (this occurs randomly) I am bounced from the web page I am on to a previous web site I was on. I do nothing nor click on anything to cause this. It just happens. When I am on facebook, this will happen and bounce me off facebook and put me on a web page i had been on during the same session. This was not happening until I just got the latest Catalina update a week ago. I do not know how to fix this issue. Are there settings needing to be changed in the apple IOS? If so what are they? Is there something I can change in my facebook account? Is there something I can change in my Firefox browser account? Or should I just sit tight, grin and bare it until firefox makes changes via an update and fixes this issue. I am beginning to think, I should have stuck with my windows 10 system instead of moving to apple. I am just frustrated that I can not fix this issue. Any ideas out there? Thanks, Jim

YouTube consistently reappears in my cookies despite the fact I have the website blocked. It seemingly does this when I am using google search, an unrelated function. I don't want websites that I block to be able to store cookies at all.

... and on the top of it, chrome is not on the Edge's list to import my bookmarks, what is very strange. I've decided to use MFF for privacy reasons, but if I'll not be able to import 'my stuff', I'll have to go back to chrome

Ok so i have two questions. first how the heck to i split screen on here? second, if i make Firefox my main browser does that mean it will be the main browser for my mom too ( she owns the computer and it's a windows ten and right now she has google chrome)

I just updated to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Pro. When I do a create new folder in my bookmarks I cannot name it. It stays as New Folder where I created it. I can only change it by going back to location in Bookmarks and then I right click on the New Folder and can only change the name by going into Properties and typing over the New Folder name.

I may have a misconception of how syncing works but I have a firefox account and I assumed that when I restored my computer and lost my bookmarks I could regain them when I signed in. This did not happen automatically and I'm not sure how to get the old synced bookmarks back. Please help. I apologize for the confusion.
