In November or December, my university's IM tab no longer showed who is available to chat with. I've just tested it in Chrome where it still works and I can see who is available. Additionally, I tried to upload images on this page to show you what it looks like in Chrome compared to in Firefox, but the browse link shows that it's starting to load the selected image but then it just hangs there even though my image is only 14.5kb...

Using Self-destructing cookies add-on I have Firefox set to remove all cookies on exit/ close: Custom settings for history unchecked: always use...remember my brow...remember search... Accept cookies from sites (with an exception list that works correctly) Accept third-party cookies: never Keep until: I close Firefox Settings: all checked to clear except site preferences.

I had been noticing a very long list 50-100 cookies identified by CC Cleaner as being on my system that Firefox dis not display. So I began using the Self-destructing cookies add on. The app definitively shortened the list.

However, cookies still remain after closing -- per CC cleaner. Some are api.websitename.com others appear to be flash cookies.

Why are they not being removed? Thank you.

I've tried to set up Firefox and sync it again via Firefox Sync, but none of my previous saved bookmarks appeared.

I do not know if I need that program, but it is not on my add-ons so I must have installed it sometime if it gets listed in the Program directory. Something I read from Mozilla tonight made me aware of it.

Was running Firefox when may system crashed. Afterwards when I tried to start it it kept throwing the Crash Manager on startup. Went through the litany of things to try but it kept bonking. Gave up and tried the 64 bit version. It seems to work except when I try to log in to any local app running under Azure; no crashes or dumps, it just hangs. I can get around this for now by using other browsers.

The question is, why did the 32-bit versions not work and the 64-bit version does (for the most part)? Is it because they reside in different file spaces? The profile came up on the 64 bit version just fine, so that part seems to be OK.

The question says it. I tried querying the forum, but foune thousands of responses. Too many! The menu had a dropdown for bookmarks, history, etc. I really like to use the menu. Forum instructions do not match what I find by clicking on the icons at the upper right.

My Firefox has suddenly stopped processing my debit card payments to Tesco online. I have cleared cookies, history and everything I can but still the same. I fill in the card details and the site asks me to wait to get authorisation but nothing happens. I can do the transaction quite ok on Microsoft Edge.

i have two folders on mozilla and it will not let me access one saying password is wrong and i need to insert a floppy disc or usb to change. this is beyond me. this only happened after an update. can you help?

My laptop is Windows 10 & I find it very hard to get into my e mails etc. .I need a quicker way to do this ! Also is it possible to maybe to transfer this set up over from MY PC (,for instance would putting in a memory stick & transfering the items on it work ) Or am I having a senior moment ? I'm trying to sign a petition using Firefox on windows 7, to help children in Somalia, and have tried on Tor & Chrome also. It says server not found every time I try, this is the first time I have come across this problem, as I regularly sign petitions. Is this happening because of Windows 10 upgrade updates, even though I am remaining on Windows 7??

At the bottom of any Inbox list of messges, or any other folder of messages, the 'Go To' function which permits searching back quickly through pages of messgages to a specific date stopped working a few months ago. It does work under Internet Explorer.

On one of my accounts I cannot access the area to update credit card information only when I am using Firefox. I have tried this on two computers. There is no problem when I use IE, which I would rather not. What is the problem? I am an old lady with not much knowledge about computers, but with enough to feel secure with Mozilla. Is there something I can do to fix this? Thank you, KAS
