Using noVNC to access a wired LAN host on Linux using Firefox v111 uses ~5% CPU on an AMD 5600X. Upgrading to Firefox v112 causes CPU utilization in the exact same use case to jump to ~35% with spikes over 70%. Additionally the responsiveness drops dramatically, and is difficult to use. I've tried a completely new profile with the default settings, and the results are the same. I've reverted back to v111 for the moment.

Hello, I am concerned about malware from third party modules in my firefox browser. I keep getting this popup for updating firefox, even after updating i used to get this popup - I dont think Firefox update every few days. Can you please take a look at these third party modules and see if there is anything suspicious:

Hello, There is a problem in actual Firefox update with scolling by mousewheele, scolling don't fuction!! It's getting on my nerve and take time to move crolling with curser!! Please fix this problem immediately bevor I switch to other browsesr!!! Thanks

Hi. When I play YouTube videos, the videos always misses the first few seconds ( about 3). I had this problem from 6 months ago.

It looks like someone has cropped all the videos. I have reloaded the video and place the video cursor at very beginning without results..

I use an Acer Travelmate Spin B3, and when using Firefox and pressing the screen down key, the screen either does nothing, or moves to the end of the document, not just one screen down. Can anybody help?

Up until sometimes before Urdu language words were properly displaying in my Firefox browser but no more. They now appear as individual characters instead of properly formed word. please help me to see the Urdu words as before.

Up until 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was able to log in. Now I Get "Access Denied". I've tried granting all permissions, cancelling vpn. I can log in if I use Chrome. FRUSTRATING. I like Firefox...

I did a search and cannot find an answer for my question. When I am shopping for something, I turn on a few different extensions manually and when I am done shopping I manually disable these extensions. Is there a way to make this process in any way?

Last night I was able to access www.wattpad.com with no problem and have in fact been receiving notices from them all day. However, when I tried to access the website this morning and this evening I get an Error 404 message. I can bring up the page on Chrome, but Chrome is not my preferred browser. I have received the same error on two different computers.

Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.

I frequently open a web page, start filling in a dialog, switch to another tab to gather evidence, then return to the original dialog. In the past few days, I have experienced the loss of my input into the dialog. Indeed just now when I started searching help, added my question, then was moved to a replacement page to log in, I returned to the question to find it deleted. Earlier today when I had spent ca 15 minutes composing a reply to contribution in a Google discussion group, the same thing happened.

Is there someone in Moxilla who considers that my contributions are really worth deleting, and spends days waiting to pounce on my messages?

Is this a consequence of the new Firefox security system (whose name I cannot check for fear of losing this text along with the previous ones)?

Prior to updating to Firefox 111.0.1, I had NO issues going to chase.com. Now, it no longer works in Firefox. It does work in Chrome browser. When I go to chase.com, I get the below error message. I'm using a FF private window with no extensions. Yes, I cleared cache and cookies.

cannot see eBay "place bid" field using Firefox 111.0.1 with MacOS Monterey 12.6.3. I can see it when I use Safari and Opera. And I can see it using other versions of MacOS on other computers.

My company IT department recently reset everything on my work computer, so I am trying to get Firefox to look the way it looked two weeks ago. I am on a PC, and I used to have the options for history, bookmarks, etc. in drop-down menus above the tabs bar. How do I get that back?

Congratulations your browser is useless thanks to your latest update. I am unable to open numerous sites that EDGE, Chrome and Opera open without issue. Firefox is my default browser. I'm about to switch to something else permanently because you've made it a total pain in the ass to use.

Why am I NOT able to LOGIN to FIREFOX or PRIVATE BROWSER? I was able to login this morning now it's afternoon & I am trying to LOGIN and nothing is happing. Am using the latest version of FIREFOX.....so what's happening?

I am a member of the local library and I sometimes want to search the catalogue or reserve a book from home using my laptop. I have Googled how to put the menbership number and pin as a book mark and it is successful-but only for a short time . The next time I go to log on automatically it doesn't work and I have to input it manually.

I have been to the library and got staff there to put the details in and it works when I am there at the library but fails when I am home.(2 very capable library people tried and both eventually failed)

My library membership number is very long and it is tedious to enter it every time-can you help please? Thanks Peter
