Sometimes, I'll click a new tab, and "something" happens. It's like it tries to create a new tab, yet it's just a half-formed nothing that you can't interact with. And when this happens, Firefox is destined to eventually crash / become unresponsive. I literally have to reboot to get Firefox working again. I haven't tried logging out. That would probably work, too.

This also happens when moving new tabs, but I've only notice that happen on tabs with Youtube.com open.

Hello... EVERY time I try to sign into my Yahoo email, I have to go through hoops to actually get there. When I click the box that says ...never ask on this device again, your system ignores it. This "Added Security" is not helpful. nor is it adding any security to anything. All you are doing is making me look for other web browsers. Google Chrome does not do this. Safari does not do this. Opera does not do this. I do not need to be contacted via text message, OR ANY OTHER WAY, to gain access to MY email account. Stop holding me hostage!!

Please tell me how to get rid of this absolutely horrible "feature."

The Washington Post has a feature on some articles called "Listen", where the article is read aloud on the device audio. I often use this because my vision is not as good as it used to be, and I can listen while I perform other tasks (e.g., cook). I do use the Malwarebytes add-on, but it doesn't work even when I disable it and the FF tracking protection is turned off.

It does work in both Edge and Chrome, with Malwarebytes enabled.

Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. So, help pretty please?

Is there a setting that we can use that will assist in using RSMeans Online Version so it will work more effectively? Whenever we get an error message or it just won't open, they blame it on Firefox.

In running version 100.0.2 (64-bit) and recently started getting the below error in Jenkins No valid crumb was included in the request(have been running Jenkins for over 2 years and never had this issue)

When I switch over to a Private Window the issue no longer occurs.

I tried the exact same webpage in Chrome browser and it works without having to go to a private mode.

Any Ideas ?

I am unable to access Zendesk via Firefox, but can in Incognito Mode. I have cleared the cache, but this has not fixed the issue. Please see attachements. How do I fix this issue?

Firefox (10.0002 64-bit) is bookmarking every single page I visit, making the bookmarking function useless to me. I just noticed this problem recently. Someone posted a similar question in 2016:

He seemed to think the problem was related to an app -- but someone else posted to that question and they did not have any new apps. Nor do I. I haven't knowingly installed any apps to Firefox in the last year.

Can someone please tell me how to stop the bookmarking function from booking pages automatically without my input?

Hi, Some files, say PNG files, always download immediately. Other files ask where to be saved. In my settings, I only have about 4-6 entries, but PNG for example is not there. I deleted the handlers file and restarted. Same issue. The only thing I can think of is the fact that I'm using an account which syncs across 2-3 devices. How can I fix this issue?

I clicked on 'block cookies' option( never seen this before but I trust you guys so....) when I logged onto firefox this morning, since then there are various apps I cannot get on to, eg Twitter, my banking through Nationwide, very frsutrating. So I tried to set a restore point prior to thios morning but that made no dofference, getting desperate now.

I do work that necessitates I have quite a few applications open. Often, I will slide one out of the way to get to another. It would be really great if we could pick up and slide the Firefox app anywhere along the top of the tool bar instead of just at the ends. It seems it would be such a simple fix to end something so frustrating. Just give us a little room around the open windows tabs to grab the app and slide it into or out of position.

Hi there, I have not been able to log into my school account from my firefox browser which is my preferred browser. I thought it was something with my school account, but i discovered i can open it on any other browser out there. Any suggestions? I have cleared all cookies from this site. Thank you in advance,

I never want to see this content again and am considering switching browsers.

I don't want to see or think about ads, i don't want to know what getpocket is. I don't want chefs plate and their columbiahouse 2.0 bullshit product. It is absolute trash.

I do not want to see these things. Ever. Again.

If there is no way to remove these things from my browser its time to go back to chrome.

I use a touch screen HP laptop. And when I shopping or just reading news and there is a picture on the page or site it pops up, even if I do not touch it. I can not see the text behind it. I know it is a setting some here because if i go to trouble shooting mode it does not happen. i have checked and unchecked every thing I can fine and nothing helps but trouble shooting mode. So when I close out and reopen Firefox trouble back. I have not tried other browsers because I only like Firefox

Over the last year or so, I've had to switch to Chrome to load some pages properly. reCAPTCHA is proving to be a particular problem - which I'm told is powered by Google? I could be blocking Google content too much within my Firefox browser?

My wife is a long-term Chrome fan and says, "I don't know why you bother with Firefox, Chrome is much better", but I rebuke and say, "No! It's been great over the years, I've been using it since 2003".

Do I need to change my settings somewhere? At times certain pages don't load - it'll say 'Click Verify; or something similar and the 'Verify' button doesn't appear - I load the same page in Chrome, and boom, it's all there.

Am I doing something wrong with Firefox? I have version 100.0.2 (64-bit). Or is it time to give in to the mighty Google and go to Chrome after loyally using Firefox/Mozilla since 2003? (A daft thing to ask on a Firefox forum, I know!).
