I use a touch screen HP laptop. And when I shopping or just reading news and there is a picture on the page or site it pops up, even if I do not touch it. I can not see the text behind it. I know it is a setting some here because if i go to trouble shooting mode it does not happen. i have checked and unchecked every thing I can fine and nothing helps but trouble shooting mode. So when I close out and reopen Firefox trouble back. I have not tried other browsers because I only like Firefox

I am fed up with this problem enough that I had to come here to complain and hopefully find out what the issue is. Every time I start Firefox, it will spend five minutes or longer before it starts to load a web page! All I will see is blank white tabs with the hourglass icon until at some point many minutes later it decides to begin loading the pages.

I've tried different connection settings (No Proxy, System Settings, Auto-Detect, etc.) and that doesn't do jack. Neither does flushing my DNS, or trying to go to a site I've never visited.

Just now, as I was sitting here waiting for the effing browser to detect the connection, I even tried unplugging my Ethernet cable and it didn't realize there was no connection available for several minutes! This is extremely annoying.

I'm using Firefox 100.0.1 on Windows 7, but I've been dealing with issue for several releases, I want to say since at least pre-FF95. I have VPNs installed and their service processes run in the background but I don't use them. Also they don't affect the connectivity of anything else.

This happen only on Firefox. This has never happened on Chrome or Safari. I can be reading something and suddenly the page gets huge. The only way to fix it is to "X" out and go back to the page. I have called Apple support and we did a screen sharing with one tab huge and one tab normal so they could "see" this. It only happens in Firefox.

I uploaded an image of this but after 10 min it is still going around and around.

Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.

Hi My browser updated to latest version 100.0.1 but all my opened tabs are missing. And what is more important all my sync bookmarks are also gone. I can note restore any of sync data.

Hello, I just recently restarted my computer. After I did, Firefox asked me to sign in again. I did, but now I'm on a new account without any of my other profiles. This happened once before and I was able to get my old account back, but I forgot how I was able to do that. How can I sign back into my old account?

When i open up https://login.comptia.org i can see the website and it loads then it prompts me to login, but when i click the login button the website goes blank and turns all white and i refresh the website and it stays white. I have cleared all cookies and cache, and i have also refreshed firefox.

Seems like there's a bug in the new update. I can't see all the downloads, no matter how I try to open the list of downloads, the browser immediately crashes. I tried reinstalling (started a new profile, etc), the issue still persists.

This annoying notification on the bottom right keeps popping up everytime I take a screenshot. I've been using computers for the past 17 years, I know how to paste things by now. Even worse, it overlays on other applications and pesters me there for about 10 seconds until I close it. Can this notification be hidden in about config or do I have to find a community add on that does the same thing, but without this stupid notification?

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. I have tried to get help regarding the 2 problems that I feel are related. I use Norton as my security system, they say that Firefox is up to day. When I try to start Firefox it takes two or three times clicking on the icon before it stays open. Then when I need to open a new tab to go to a website that I have opened a hundred times, sometimes it will not even open the website and other times it will open but not let me sign in. On the sign in page to error this morning said: Bad Request - "Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of request header field exceeds server limit."

It will often just say it can't start that page, try again.

The "try again" has been going on for awhile, the Bad Request is new. Please help me with this problem! It is beginning to get annoying.

Hi, I have this problem which I never faced before, and I could not find a solution to it online. Could you please help me! It only appears in your browser. Which is a pink layer on YouTube videos. I tried reinstalling the browser, refreshing it. everything I could. And no chance. I am going to share with you a screenshot of what I mean.

On opening many websites I think they've created a new trick - dropping to the bottom of the page so you have to scoll through all pages to get to the top - is there a way of preventing this?

I have always used Gmail on my firefox browser, for some reason for the last two weeks it keeps dropping saying it's not connected. i have my account synced over multiple devices and it happens on all of them I am forced to use Edge or chrome to have it work which of course i don't want to do

So I updated today as requested and now all the sites I had previously checked to allow pop ups etc on are no longer functioning.

Why dod you not include copying these settings in your update,

What a massive waste of my time
