Hello, I was using a website that has a list editor with a delete button. Everytime I clicked the delete button, the website would ask me to confirm with an alert. There was a checkbox below from Firefox that that sounded like it would make the website stop asking me to confirm every single time, so I clicked it. Now, the delete button just doesn't work! I think Firefox is just blocking the button from doing anything at all. I need that to start working again but I don't know how to find where that setting might be stored. Firefox doesn't show individual cookies and I'm afraid to delete all the website's cookies.

Is there a direct solution to this problem? Thanks.

FYI the website is justinguitar.com, and the list editor is part of the Practice tool.

Bookmark details for my bookmarks are suddenly missing. I still see the list of bookmark folders, and within each folder I still see the list of bookmark names. But the navigation details (i.e., URLs) for each bookmark are nowhere to be seen. Nothing happens when I click on a bookmark.

What could have happened? Is there a way to recover that information? (Unfortunately I don't have an up-to-date bookmark backup.)

I frequent Creative Fabrica a lot, I have had a subscription there for well over a year and never had any problem downloading anything, never had so much as a warning about the website. This website is larger than Creative Market. I purchased the ability to download in a subscription there, my payments are all made on time.

Even then, I am trying to download free "daily gifts" (fonts & graphics), and this is the first time I have tried on my iMac, but FireFox does nothing, and I cannot download the .zip archive, even though I can download the image files.

I have been downloading from elsewhere across the internet just fine. I usually use FireFox because I like it better than Safari (and a lot more than Chrome or Chrome Edge), until this issue.

So, what's the deal?

I heard about restarting in safe mode, but have no idea how, I always have such an issue getting FireFox to restart for updates, already (and why doesn't it offer the button to do just that?).

Why on earth would you want the history pane to automatically scroll to the very top after clicking on a result??

This is a stupid design flaw that no other browser has, FIX IT MOZILLA.

I don't know if connecting is thru Firefox or just a microsoft problem. I can not get the program to open. when I try to open it just flashes and doesn't open. I am 82 and don't know who to call.

Hi, I'm new to Firefox and purchased Mozilla's Firefox Private Network Browser Extension. How can I tell that it's on? Should I be seeing some sort of icon on my address bar or something? And what could be the problem if it isn't on?

Compared to Chrome, when I login then a can see extension icons on the bar. Should I be signing on to Firefox too?

Internet is fine, other apps and browsers load fine. Mozilla support pages load fine, I'm sending this post through the affected Firefox. But every other page I try to load hangs endlessly. Youtube, FB, DuckDuckGo, reddit, just standalone images, literally nothing else seems to load.

I'd installed a mod loader for a game earlier that gave BitDefender a conniption fit I guess because of the way the loader injected code, and BD insisted on doing a "malware clean" on reboot after I told it not to. I suspect BD must have deleted something or changed permissions, but I can't find anything in its app that would undo or provide exceptions etc.

Is there any way to refresh/troubleshoot without having do a full reinstall? (or else an easier way to do a reinstall that's less of a hassle?) I've already rebooted my PC, restarted Firefox a couple times, emptied the cache and cookies, and tried to connect with no proxy, none so far have worked.

Hi, in just the past few days I've discovered that when I visit a website and set up a log-in ID and password, the password that Firefox Manager offers to save isn't being saved correctly. For example, say I use the password 143143, it saves it as something like 973973.

This has happened to me three times that I'm aware of (and I kept having to go back to Safari's saved passwords to find the correct ones, since I typically use randomly generated passwords.

I'm running macOS Mojave, 10.14.06, so I haven't changed the OS in well over a year. (I haven't updated as I have an SSD that's not APFS.) Any suggestions? Many thanks.

It started when I tried to add a person to my contacts. An error message kept popping up which read lpe-data.errorSaveFailed. That problem seems to have gone away but I have a different problem. When I open my Contacts and click on a person's name their information appears OK on my screen. However, when I click on "Edit contact" to make a change, an error message pops up that says, "something went wrong. Please close this window and try again." I do that but nothing changes. Additionally, on my iPhone 11 which is synced to my Hotmail account a number of my accounts had their information duplicated to the point where some of them had up to 40 duplications. My thought was to delete Firefox from my computer and then reinstall it. When I went to do this, I noticed that there were two versions of the program on my computer, one of them installed August 26! I never installed it and I don't know how the second version got on m computer! Thinking that this duplication was the problem, I deleted the one installed on August 26 but kept the one installed a few years ago. Now I don't have any of my original bookmarks and the problem of making changes in a contact persists. Can someone guide me to a solution? Thank you in advance for your attention. When I search for driving schools in my area; my driving school comes up with two stars. Several months back my 4.9 rating with over three hundred reviews would come up. Someone changed the way it is coming up and it's showing two stars with one review from Yelp? Please help me. This is not fair?

Error message says: "HTTPS not available on this site" Choices: : "Go back" or "Continue to HTTP only site". If I choose "Continue to HTTP site", the address bar shows that the address is indeed HTTPS! Have I been hacked? Do I have a virus? I can find no help elsewhere. I have saved the error message but, using your "Browse" below will not show it in my documents.

I am running a fresh instaled Ubuntu 2022.04, so this is the first Firefox-from-snap.

I am a Jupyter user, and when launch the Jupyter-lab (which try read a file in ~/.local/... directory) I get the deny; I can launch it when connect to Jupyter server, which is an annoying behaviour.

I browse for help, so I change the "security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy" to false, but didn't help

I verify that Firefox let me navigate my personal folder, but deny access to hidden folders (name starting with dot). I test this behaviour by create a new directory in my personal folder (navigable) and then change the name by adding the initial dot (access denyed).

I guess this is an effect of security policies of Firefox, but how can I change this policy in a safe way?
