Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. I have a 30-day free trial for DeepL add-on (and enabled it in Firefox). I tried to use the extension when I visited a Russian website and clicked DeepL and "Translate this selection" and nothing happened. The webpage wasn't translated. Do I have to be a "Pro" user to use DeepL? If not, how do I get it to work? I'm using Firefox 122.0.1 version and Windows 10.

i recently download firefox for a new computer when i went to search controls i noted that there was no choice for the address bar before i used the bar that had a search engines engine listed in the address bar but no i dont see it did something change at firefox i would still like a choice on watch search bar to use Im paul jensen beadoz@yahoo.co.uk

Every once in awhile i get a second Firefox icon pinned to my taskbar and also a second listing for firefox in my programs list. If i try and delete the extra version there is only one listed in the control panel. Has anyone else seen this? I am running Windows 10 Pro.

great work with devloping such fine browser from past week i have been having a issue while browsing youtube the browser gets stuck and i am not able to forward or rewind the video or if i switch tabs it takes some time and to load already loaded page kindly help me with the same warm regards satish

To log into my mortgage lender's site I have to enter my email address. Beside this field is the Facebook container symbol; mousing over it warns me that if I enter my email here, Facebook can track me. Mortgage Lender used to allow me to log in with a user name, but now requires my email address, which apparently gives Facebook access to track me. Tried speaking to the lender about this, but they simply assert there are no Facebook trackers on their site. So, any workaround for this besides just doing all my business with them by phone from now on?

I keep getting a message that says on YouTube "experiencing interruptions, find out why?'. The videos pause and are choppy. When I click find out why, it's telling me to turn off my high resolution. I don't even know how to do this. My tower is connected to a samsung hd smart tv, that serves as my monitor. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. The message is constant - all day long, every day. Can you please help me fix this problem. I am a paying member of YouTube Premium. Thank you.

To make the local startpage as a new tab I tried autoconfig.js and autoconfig.cfg but I got a error message when I open the broswer and nothing change. To remove the url from the local startpage I browse the reddit but I couldn't find answer, I want that when I open the browser it show my custom and local startpage without the url appearing.

Hello, My Antivirus sofware (GData Internet security) showed the attached message (in German) two times today. It says in English something like:

It was tried to access an infected archive

Virus: Trojan.GenericKD.71195125 (Engine A) File: 0B3C6E11DBBC160A3AAFC100C8BAB878F5EE0C Directory: C:\Users\re-ge\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firef Process: firefox.exe

The line ending with "Firef" may indicate that lines are truncated.

Hi, I have recently update my Win system with everything including Firefox. And now when I open new tab there is the same Firefox icon like always, but when I it is loading new page then its new X. When it is done with loading it changes to OK icon of the dedicated page. Is this X normal? Thank you

When I login into some WEB site it goes in to an endless loop continues? It used to work before you forced the download of version of 0esr, when the old none 0esr worked fine. As a example: I am trying to login to xcelenergy.com site and it keeps flipping back and forth with these two lines ( parts of lines deleted because you might get into my account )in the address bar -

I have included the 2 of screen captures that it flip's through of maybe a another 2 screens (can not tell, it flips through to fast).

 Firefox version using now:      115.6.0esr (64-bit) or the 32bit Version, I tried both. Then load an old back version it works fine but then it gets upgrade to the new version again.
  my version of windows:         8.1, with all Firefox ad blockers and other ad blockers turned off or on does not matter. 
      The reason I will not upgrade my software is that I would have to buy a lot of new software upgrades that I use, and can  

not afford at this time on my retirement.

I am trying to find answers in relation to my Favourites shorcuts not showing the Icon for some well known websites e.g BBC World News, CNN. Once answer found on the Firefox Forum is: Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

This is just typical of many answers I find on the Firefox forums whereby the suggested solutions seem to bear no resemblance to my Firefox system. Am I using something different? Everything points to me having the latest up to date version of Firefox. For example if I click on the four horizontal line hamburger on top right of the screen I do not see anything that begins with "Tools" in the menu options. I see "Settings" and "More Tools" but none lead to "Options>Content: Fonts & Colors> Advanced: [X]. simarly, If I click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the Browser nothing leads to "Options". Any suggestions please?

I have tried preventing Firefox from autostarting with Windows start up by examining these potential program starting locations:

I am no tech expert.....I have not Idea of the problem..I have used these email programs for years with no problems for years. Any help would be greatfuly appriciated.

I'm experiencing a problem when I visit certain websites, like 'https://mui.com/x/react-data-grid/'. Every time I try to access this site, the page starts an infinite reloading loop, preventing me from using the website normally.

The Debian Firefox packages available are only 115.6. Thought it would be nice to have the latest. Grabbed all the dependencies according to the Mozilla web site.

Installed Firefox 121.0 as root and placed folder into /opt, as instructed. Went through all the settings and imported my bookmarks.

Now there is a 121.0.1 upgrade available but my browser won't automagically install the upgrade. Says click here to download. So I do. I get the entire tar.bz2 bundle, which creates a full directory structure, as if I was starting over.

Can I just move a few files from that into the existing /opt/firefox directory to get the upgrade? If so, which ones?

Or, can I move few files from the existing directory into the new version, and replace the whole lot? If so, which ones?

When I clicked troubleshooting mode FF unexpectedly closed my Private browsing session and all the tabs. How do I reopen them?

I did not expect FF to close on me like that. I thought that as I was in a private browsing session FF would have warned me that it was about to close had it been necessary.

I'm guessing that my open tabs have been lost permanently because you didn't warn me and that all that time I spent is now wasted.

Life is really simple except that other people make it problematic.

Hi, I used to be able to go to my email with Foxfire Mozilla with one click. Now I have to go to gmail, click on user name, insert my password twice, and then go to my phone to click on "yes, it is me" and sometimes before that enter a code, and then go to update securty all before I can read my email. I don't need any of this; I am the only user of my account and the only person who uses my computer. I am very unhappy with this. Also, just recently I now have lots of popups, most about music. It isn't even advertising, that I could understand, just annoying boxes of useless information that I have to dismiss. What is going on?,
