When on youtube or any video website, when I click the PiP button on the side of the video, instead of having the video popup on the screen I have a new windows (only visible in the windows taskbar) which is invisible.

If I try to hover the (empty) preview in windows, it should hide everything else and show the window, but nothing happens as if the popup create a window but stops in the middle.

I tried with Firefox (v107.0 64-bit) and Firefox dev edition (v108.0b6 64-bit), same problem. I tried disabling every addon/theme, same problem. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, same problem. I tried Troubleshoot mode, works correctly.

Before re-installing Windows it worked normally. What could be the problem ?

I'm having an issue where firefox is acting as if there's something blocking pages/content. I do not experience the issue on any other browser.

I first noticed it trying to log into one of my accounts. The login portal redirects the page to a success screen and then to the home page. With firefox after entering credentials it shows a blank page with a 500 error instead.More specifically I believe it has to do with an api for "duosecure" (checking for multi factor auth)

another example is trying to download chrome remote desktop - normally you click their download link and pauses the current page while it triggers a popup to chrome's page to download the extension. It does this in any other browser I try except firefox.

This is on a clean install of windows 10 and a clean install of firefox. I am on the latest version of firefox (tried 106 and updated to 107 via the beta options) I have: - cleared cookies and cache - restarted firefox - tried safe mode - tried with and without extensions/addons and have removed all - uninstalled firefox as well as deleted all appdata folders - tried unchecking hardware acceleration - setting dns to none and changing the dns server options - turned off any setting i could find regarding popups, blocking sites etc - manually turned off enhanced tracking - gone through windows firewall and security settings to turn off everything that i could find that was "on" - rebooted computer - rebooted router - used the "refresh" firefox to set it back to defaults - tried connecting to the internet via ethernet and wifi options - windows updates Note: logging into other things such as gmail or facebook are fine on firefox but they don't seem to trigger redirects to outside sites.

Recently I have had difficulty completing online purchases. Specifically a purchase from Equifund, an investing company. I was using the Firefox browser, which I like, and I could not connect Equifund to my bank account nor get it to sign off with my credit card. They recommended Google Chrome and I had no problem. I'm having an issue in which the picture-in-picture pop-out won't stay maximized. It's been happening for a while. I will maximize it on one monitor while I work on another, and it will restore itself to the last size I had it periodically. Usually, if I don't maximize it again, it will change sizes again, a few seconds later, shrinking down to about a 480p sized window.

There's no rhyme or reason for when it happens. I could be in a different FF tab or window, or in a different program, or just sitting there not doing anything, and it can happen. Sometimes, it happens multiple times in a short period of time (just now, it restored itself 7 times in a row, less than 30 seconds apart). It never happens when the video is not playing, however.

This only started a couple months ago, but it got noticeably worse in the past week or so. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

need a new mail account immediately. Zohomail in India blocked my account. Cannot even communicate with them since account is frozen but seems to allow incoming emails.. Can get incoming just no outgoing. Love Firefox..been on it for years. Medical heart failure condition requires a working email account at once. Can you help ?

Hello all, just yesterday I noticed my Yahoo inbox was not fully loading and even when it finished loading, I have had the same few messages showing, a series of just gray bars below that, no ads, etc. and will not allow me to delete or perform commands. When I check the box by an email it simply takes me to the email, as happens if I do so before it's fully finished loading. It is as if it is still trying to load somewhere in the ether land, since there is no indication on my toolbar that it's working. I've tried everything except removing it from Firefox. I thought it was my internet service but all is fine with other sites and Yahoo mail works fine on Safari. It's never happened before. Many thanks for your help.

I had an issue with Macbook Pro. Apple support had to wipe and reinstall hard drive. Firefox is my default browser and I was signed in. When we reinstalled Firefox on my new hard drive, I signed in and there's nothing there -- no booksmarks, history toolbar, etc.

Can i still get back that information?

Lately every time you release an update you break something in how Amazon is displayed. Not on all pages, the initial main page is fine, but if you try and view any lists or past purchases the display is unreadable. I've noticed this in the past, but this time it happened right after your last update, so I conclude that's where the problem lies. The attached screenshot is of my Amazon Wishlist. If you have one of those you'll notice the appreaence is way off. And BTW I was trying to delete the list, or perform any of the other actions that result in those warnings. Thank you.

Hi! For some reason accounts.firefox.com is not displaying in english on my desktop, but in Norwegian, and specifically nynorsk to make things even weirder. On another PC it's displaying in english as I want it to be. My Firefox is set to english (although apparently has Norwegian (bokmål) installed which I can't remove cause the remove button is grayed out...), and my preferred languages for displaying pages are set to english only.

Now that my search engine for Firefox start page (Bing) have stopped showing images for older browsers (I just get a blank grey screen with their search bar).

Upgrading FF is not an option.

I want to use my own image (but not sure how to go about this). A Bookmark ?

My bank notifies me that it has a letter for me. I find the link for the letter on my secure internet banking site and click on it. First it tells me "No Preview available", and there's a button to Download. Which I select. Immediately a new page coming up with the wording "Authorization has been denied for this request."

When I try to open this letter using Google Chrome I have no problem!

What is happening with Firefox and how do I access the letter successfully?

I want to be able to use Firefox like I did before! Tired of having to re-log-in to programs that I didn't used to have to before I cleared cache, etc.

I have used FIREFOX for many years and have account. Right now I am located in France but normally based in US. I have tried multiple times to sign up to FIREFOX / MOZILLA VPN but when I reach the pay page and enter credit card details it will not let me pay. I have tried multiple credit cards both American and European and all valid cards but the pay button simply won/t turn blue and allow the final step. Do you have any suggestions ? I've been using an Ironclaw rgb for over a year now but recently switched to an old backup hp mouse since I forgot to charge the ironclaw. Ever since then my cursor would only work in firefox, even though I could still alt tab to other apps, when I tried to click them it just clicked whatever was behind it on firefox. I already switched back to my main mouse and it's only gotten worse, as now it gets stuck whenever i plug in/out the mouse, even after restarting. I've had to restart multiple times since that fixes it for a short while but then it gets stuck again.

Firefox 10x.x will stop rendering pages without giving an error. MX Linux. Nothing showing up in dmesg Not detecting any pattern to when this major issue happens; simply opening a page from a search engine result in a tab might cause it. could run 20 tabs of Youtube often without issue. Issue will only allow one level on Menu to show (can't reach Browser Tools to troubleshoot), selecting a tab window usless wont not move. If issue happens in a video window the video will play but not update display. If I resize Firefox, its window will update frame by frame
