Is there a way that I can recover my New Tab page setup (just the new tab page) from a Macrium Reflect backup of my OS disk? I recently did some cleanup that cratered my FireFox profile (developer and beta also). I would like to somehow recover just the New Tab page setup from the os backup. Any solution? Thanks for your help.

I would just like to ask for support regarding an error I recieve when I try to do video call on facebook over your browser. I have attached a copy of the error.

I have restarted both firefox and my laptop as well as ensured the camera and microphone are allowed for facebook but the error still persists.

This does not happen with the other browsers btw.

Hoping for a response on the matter.

I downloaded version 101.0.1 and lost most of my bookmark TAGS! These help me find things in my many bookmarks. I've kept version 98.0.1 in my Applications folder (MAC Mojave 10.14.6) and it still has all my TAGS intact. I can't copy / paste or drag and drop them. How can I transfer my bookmarks TAGS?

I have been using the coderanch.com website for more than a decade and most of the postings include listings of source code which I was (past tense) able to cut a paste into my own development environment. With the latest version (107) of Firefox this has broken, the document now gets numerous non-printable characters (decimal 160) for the leading indents of the code. I'm assuming they are being somehow substituted for the tab character.

I went back to version 105 and the problem went away. Also Chrome does not have this problem.

Please fix soon as it is impacting my ability to help others on the coderanch site.

I don´t have the function "fill in mailadress automatically" like it is described in the help function. I have version 18 on mac and looked in the correct article but the describtion there is wrong. Is there anybody who uses this function in Version 18 on mac? kind regards david

I did a search and cannot find an answer for my question. When I am shopping for something, I turn on a few different extensions manually and when I am done shopping I manually disable these extensions. Is there a way to make this process in any way?

Hi. I've been having this problem with my iMac for sometime, but now it's affecting my Macbook Pro, as well. Both machines are 2015, running OS 10.15.7.

They have problems loading webfonts (I get the annoying question marks). I tried creating a new test user, and the issue persisted. Any ideas on what I should do?

I was busy logging in to Firefox (today's update) using my account and wished to store my login info, but the link upon login was a long useless address specific to the post-login screen and related to adding more devices. I opened a new tab but this was, apparently, a sticky login and the new tab was logged in as well. I logged out of that tab with the obvious (hindsight) effect of interrupting the previous tab/s.

Long story short, the immediate effect was the message in the subject line of this mail. Firefox locked my account and I need it unlocked.

what the hell is wrong with firefox windows? /all my extensions are not showing in my toolbar. No themes are showing correctly. Just more problems to work around, as if I have the time, to go along with the "improvements" for my life?

Here is a rather long winded explanation of my problem initially prepared for an email to Firefox until I found out that was not a possibility. Hello Agent, I have a problem with Firefox described as follows: I have an account with a company called Eversfield Organic an organic meat company. They have a facility whereby the delivered cold packs and insulating material can be returned to them via DPD free of charge. To achieve this a form has to be completed on Eversfields site to enable a returns label to be printed. When attempting to complete this form one line of this form will not accept an input. This item is called the “Country” which should read “United Kingdom”. I cannot input this manually or by my password manager “RoboForm” which temporary inputs United Kingdom until I release the mouse button when it goes blank again. I have tried the Google Chrome and Opera browsers which work perfectly using this system. So logically it would appear that there is a fault with Firefox which is a shame since it is my preferred browser. It would be appreciated if you can provide a solution to this problem. Several times now when I access my banking site and export data, the exported data is not correct. Sometimes columns are missing or columns are in the wrong order. One time even the display showed missing columns. Another example is when I look up a stock quote, sometimes the numbers from previous days are displayed. Troubleshooting with the site manager we found if I cleared cache and cookies, the problem went away. Everything works for several days, then the problem reappears.

Clearing the cookies is simple enough but then I have to be re-verified on all of the sites that require such and that becomes a real pain. (ie. We are sending you a text, please enter the number to continue)

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge both work fine with this site. Please don't make me switch but I will if this continues.
