I am getting an "access denied" on some sites I visit like Kroger, Albertson's, Vitacost, etc. that I have used often in the past and now all of a sudden I can't go one them. What's going on?

I've recently encountered a curious issue with my Firefox browser (Firefox version 102.0, Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.25145.1011). At seemingly random times it will freeze for between two and five minutes (roughly). UI elements become completely unresponsive and the cursor does not update when moving over the browser window. The window will not minimize. Yet, Windows Task Manager does not report the application as being unresponsive. While never a common problem, any freezes in the past would eventually cause the Windows Task Manager to identify it as unresponsive.

I have disabled "recommended performance settings" and hardware acceleration to no avail. Everything seems perfectly normal immediately before and after the freezes, and I've yet to identify how I can trigger them. I do not recall having made any changes to my browser before the freezes started occurring, though multiple Windows updates have taken place since then. If I'm too impatient to wait I will end the Firefox processes via Windows Task Manager and restart it so I can return to my tabs without having cookies deleted. I have 13 plugins mainly covering privacy/security concerns. Is there some sort of debug tool I can engage to see what's occupying Firefox while it's frozen? I've just found the Firefox Task Manager, and will see if it can offer any additional information during/after the freezes.

I am looking for a toolbar addon that allows shortcuts to local applications. Example, shortcuts to notepad, word, calc etc... on a toolbar (like the firefox [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[B]-toolbar)

There are launchers and such to launch applications, but I just want a dedicated toolbar for this where I can place shortcuts to firefox tools/utilities on there.

10+ years ago there was an addon for firefox that was a simple toolbar which could handle url's, local applications...anything as long as it could be created as a shortcut on the desktop. But I can't find it anymore it probably got dis-continued.

Any suggestion is very welcome.

Mozilla opens a random page without me doing anything. Page doesnt download all the way because i think ether avast or windows firewall blocks it. Has anyone found a solution to stop this from happening. I have done a deep scan incase of a malware and avast found nothing.

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

I upgraded Firefox, created an account and installed Simple Tabs. I changed a few things in settings. I now have to login into Facebook every time and I cannot post anything. How do I fix it? When the window pops up the little icon circle just keeps going around and around.

There are two suggestions (or questions if I simply cannot find these): - as the default behaviour of the browser, I want to be able to only see websites from Europe. However, when I am trying to use it in firefox as my Start Page, it opens all of these in separate tabs and it does not work. Also as far as I understand using the link is not possible for new tabs.

The reason is simple. For example, when looking for cooking recipes, pages from the USA use strange units that cannot be understood and there is no point in translating each of these manually as all recipes are available in million of versions - it is just a matter of clicks. But I don't want to waste time each time on checking the websites one by one; if the cooking website is from Europe, the units will be of a standard and I don't have to worry. It is the same in relation to many products of any kind. European and American markets are completely different and reading description of something only to find out at the end that it is only available in the USA is waste of time.

- it should be possible in firefox to block some websites or portals by some button. I know that there is an add-on for this but it is only for 10 pages or so, so in reality it is not very useful. It also only works in the way that the page won't open when clicked on. However, it would be much better if unwanted portals or websites were simply removed from search results.

There are too many fake websites nowadays providing incorrect or misleading information. If it happens that I come across one of these, I want to be doing that only once - and block them forever.

I re-installed a fresh windows copy, and after I signed into my Sync account I found nothing of my saved info including everything (bookmarks, saved password... etc).. I tried different computer and still have the same problem. I removed and re-installed firefox, but in vain. I don't know what happened. I believe that my data are saved to my account not on computer, so I supposed to find them wherever I sign in.. plz help me to solve this serious issue. thanks in advance.

I'm trying to access my Apple ID (appleid.apple.com). When I select "Sign In" the page hangs and never displays the fields to enter my user name and password. The message I get is "This action could not be completed because of an error. Try again or check back later."

Under Settings > General > Network Settings I selected No proxy and I disabled DNS over HTTPS. But neither of these actions made a difference.

Eventually, I had to use Microsoft Edge to access my account.

Any ideas?

I am unable to log on to my Synology Diskstation 220+ using the Firefox browser. The device is accessed through my local IP address. I have no trouble using the Microsoft Edge browser. This problem has existed for several months and I cannot figure it out. On Firefox I have checked the ad blocker and disabled it. I tried clearing the cache. I would appreciate any ideas people could suggest. Thanks.

I get this add every now and then at the bottom right. only from this store. I have popups disabled and no exceptions. It's not always, but sometimes it shows up. Especially when I start up my computer. If I click it away, it stays away for a long time. I found a similar question in the archive but the answers didn't help my question. I had a Firefox account on my phone. I got hacked. So I uninstalled the Firefox app. I got the upgrade for Lookout and added that to my phone. I opened a new Firefox browser on my PC because I was tired of Google and I don't like Bing. I think you are still using my phone account. dawniegirl1973. lt has never been a primary or secondary email for phone or Pc. But you caught the last hacker! I would like an upgrade with Firefox on both PC and phone if I wouldn't have to pay for both devices. Would that cover both PC and phone? They are not linked, but they do share 2 emails and passwords. I also would like VPN, if that would secure my wifi. But I need a network that I can use for all my internet needs. I don't know what all VPN does. Please help me out. I don't know what to do anymore. It's all gotten so confusing. I'm tired of being hacked. Please advice. I trust, you, Firefox and I want you on both devices can we do this?

The dozens of bookmarks I had that I did not put in folders has grown in numbers exponentially. I don't know how. I had nothing to do with it. I went from having about 200 bookmarks (outside of what I had in separate folders) to what seems to be roughly 5000. This is ridiculous. How can I 1, correct this, and 2, stop if from happening again.

I am using a Banking website to look at Balances and such. All working OK with Login, View, Edit. When I open a specific window I get a Technical error.

The window is a secondary page that allows me to view, edit my future payments. It was working until about 3 versions of FireFox. The Bank tells me that the problem is not at their end but at mine and they suggest it seems to be a block of the secondary window. I have tried to adjust HTTP and HTTPS all to no effect. Is their some debug log I can send to help with the issue to get a solution?

This extension, even if it is Firefox's extension, I do not want. It is hindering my ability to get my schoolwork done your browser that I like to use. I really do not want to have to make the complete switch to Edge. I should not have to add this extension that I do not want.
