"delete cookies and site data when firefox is closed" now gets checked against my will. i'm not checking it and have never had it set to do that. this is wasting tons of time for me, resetting my shortcuts and signing in to sites that are a pain in the ass to sign in to (specifically bandcamp). other settings get changed also, but not all of them, and my personal info remains. but a lot of time is also wasted correcting all the settings that have changed behind my back. this started happening within the past week. i've changed nothing.

it's not when i turn my computer off. i had to reset everything 2 days ago, but when i got home yesterday and turned my computer on it was working properly - settings intact. i used it for several hours, went to bed, turning the internet off, as i always do, and leaving pine player on. (it's not pine player causing the problem. i wasn't using it the other times) the computer never went into sleep mode, as per my settings... but after turning the internet back on this morning and opening firefox my settings are changed again.

I tried starting with all extensions disabled - same results.

Is the development crew monitoring this? Something changed with this release that's causing this. I wouldn't mind if it didn't work, but crashing the browser is a no-no.

Is there a way to create categories on Bookmarks Toolbar?

I have many bookmarks and I just want to organise them by naming the front of the row. I might need to add empty spacers too. For example, Banking - has about 8 bookmarks, then new row will be Crypto - 11 bookmarks, Social Media - 4 bookmarks, News - 6 bookmarks and so on.

I have searched for this everywhere but no answer as yet. Does anyone have trick they use to achieve something similar to above?

Good afternoon. My name is Tito, I had a lot of logins and passwords for the most of the sites saved in the firefox passwords. I went to another country for vacation and for some reason i lost all of my saved logins. Is there anyway to recover it. one of the advantages of having saved logins nowadays, and because all the passwords get more complex is to save it and in case we forgot we can always check it.. is there anyway i can recover it?? I recently switched to WordPress for site hosting, and set up their Titan email. It's worked fine for the first couple weeks, but yesterday after I did a routine clear cache and cookies, my email became a blank white page. The URL looks correct. Have spent several hours with WP help to no solution. Email works fine in Chrome, and all other WP functions are fine in Firefox.

I was on a website last night to pay property taxes and the check box won't click. had to switch to safari. Had issues with tax act with the same similar problems. firefox 99.0.1 OS 10.13.6

I have been using firefox for years. I went to medicare.gov this weekend and was unable to login. I have never had a problem using firefox to login to Medicare.gov. I called medicare and they only told me to clear history and cookies which I did OR use another browser. I am using a Mac and used Safari, but had to turn on Java script to login. I have turned off all addons. Looked at settings, but can not find why I can not use firefox to login to Medicare.gov

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

with firefox, drag and drop for attachments is not working using macOS High sierra, and outlook emails. It works ok in Chrome but I dont want to change over. I deleted cache and cookies and restarted. It worked ok for a while but stopped working agaiin.

When I go to websites there are unusual characters(light font) that are displayed. That shouldn't be there. How do I get rid of them?

After the new version, Firefox is taking over 5 minutes to open up and then when I quit at night, it takes several minutes to close and then a pop up message says Firefox has crashed. Do you want to quit or reopen Firefox? What is going on?????? Is this my problem or is a problem with the new version????????

MacBook Pro OS High Sierra Firefox version: 106.0b4

When I bring up Google Maps I put the address in and Firefox shows an error message. This has been happening for a couple of months. See Error Message below.. Google Chrome has NO problem pulling up the address. How can I fix this? Thank you.

I have two websites listed as exceptions in my autoplay settings that I cannot remove. Please see the attached image to see the addresses.

I cannot remove these websites and I cannot change the settings to block all audio & video.

Anyone have any idea on what might be going wrong and how to fix it?

I am using the current versions of Firefox on my 2008 MacPro, My 2014 MacBook Air and my 6th Gen iPad.

When Pasting A Prepped Set Of Lines, Firefox Jumbles And Trashes alignment, So, You Have To Retype The Line Three Times. Is It An Employee, Playing With The Controls Of Alignment, Or Is Your Coding Wrong For Match Up.

using Firefox 102.0.1 (64-bit) on a 2010 Mac High Sierra 10.13.6. Clicking on boxes in web forms do not show choice made, both in my medical mychart app, as well as the USPS web app. What gives? Hi, I have an old mid 2011 iMac running on OS High Sierra 10.13.6. I have updated to the latest version, I restarted my computer, and Firefox crashes suddenly at least a couple of times a week, if not more. Is this a problem that can be fixed or is this just going to be the status quo now?
