Sorry to trouble you, i recently un-pinned mozila from the task bar by mistake, as its my main browser i re-pinned it from the icon on my desk top, now i have lost all my logins and passwords and some recently saved bookmarks. Would there be a way of recovering them, again sorry to trouble you. Nigel

Hello, Firefox is set as my default browser. However, when I click on a link in an email or website, it always open in Chrome. I cannot get it to open in Firefox. thanks for your help.

Are there any reports of erased history lately? Perhaps since v122.01? I had history that goes way back.

I few of my profiles have a month's worth I don't sync. I have these two profiles in particular that are quite distinct from one another. Nothing in common, but both only have history for the past two days. None of my related settings have been altered.

I tried replacing places.sqlite from backups, but unless they were backed up that way, it did not help.

Здравствуйте. К своему стыду не могу разобраться. Поставил опции, во вкладке безопасность, удалять Куки и Историю по выходу из Firefox. При этом история сохраняется, при последующем запуске браузера. Так же при следующем запуске браузера, при авторизации на сайтах, автоматически заполняется поле "логин", "телефон". Как сделать что бы не заполнялся и была очищена история? Спасибо.

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. Time to stop using Mozilla products? what the devil is going on with the Mozilla staff? Hard to provide a contribution when products don't work!

Hi! Relaying this for another Firefox user. Whenever they go to Google Images, it seems like the images don't fully load. GIFs don't play, and it ends up showing the preview rather than the full image. This isn't happening on other sites like Bing. Any ideas what could be causing this? A uninstall and reinstall didn't help.

I want the tab button to stop navigating any web page. Im tired of the alt tab shortcut moving my focus around and forcing me to completely refresh a page just to interact with it again.

Please do not tell me to use about:config browser.toolbars.keyboard_navigation. It doesnt work because its not what im looking for. I want to disable the tab key in my browser. Period. 100% gone. Stop bothering me ever again type deal.

Is there a way to disable tab key navigation that doesnt require a year of coding experience with an obscure addon that probably doesnt work as of 10 updates ago?

If you type "% [search term]" in your search bar, it will try to search your existing tabs for any tabs that fit the criteria. The problem is, firefox is making odd decisions on what to display in the search results. I was under the impression that Firefox would prioritize the most frequently used tabs in the search results, but this no longer appears to be true, or the criteria used is more complex than that.

As an example, in the attached screenshot, i am searching for tabs with the keyword "Stellaris". But for some reason, Firefox refuses to show me any reddit tabs with "Stellaris" in them, and is instead showing a list of tabs that are much less frequently used.

Is there any way to get the search results to prioritize the most frequently used tabs, change what shows up in the search results, etc? I know i can type "stellaris reddit" to narrow down the search results, but i would prefer that the search results prioritize the msot frequently used tabs.

After facebook messenger upgraded their security chat with end to end encryption call/video is not possible in firefox. Call/video buttons even disappeared. However i can call from microsoft edge web browser for example. Is this some kind of bug with mozilla? Anyone have experienced this too?

I've read all of the recommendation on how to keep links from opening in another window. Tried them all to no avail. This is a new problem. Anybody out there finding the same issue? Find a fix?

Yes, following your instructions I now can see and access the attachements. I cannot still opening them, only download them. It is not perfect but at least I can have access to the attachments without having to exit Firefox and go to Acrobat.

This AM, I opened my Firefox Browser for the first time today and attempted to sign into my EaseUS account. I was confronted by a "request" to add "Browsing Safety by Safely" as an add-on to my Firefox. However, it would not let me to skip this "request" without adding it to Firefox. Nothing I attempted worked. I've never heard of a compulsory add-on, least of all from Mozilla! If I would have had the time, I'd have tried different accounts/log-ons/browsers, etc. However, I didn't have the time to do it then. Help please.

What is this? Have you heard of it? Do I have a problem? Should I remove the Add-On?

My company uses Oracle Fusion as its ERP solution, and I frequently have to download files from Oracle BI Publisher. Prior to V123 of Firefox, which installed this morning, I could click on the file/report in Oracle Fusion, and the file/report would get moved to my Downloads folder. After the update to V123, nothing happens after I click on the file. I had a co-worker replicate the problem after his Firefox updated to V123. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there is a resolution.

Greetings. so I have been using this type of browser since netscape vs ie. enjoy and use firefox daily, when i can. there seems to be a weird process of constantly changing the software, and not allowing reliability. I can set for no updates, or only if i allow it, but firefox ignores me and updates anyway and then displays a new front page describing the mischief the coders have been up to. couple weeks ago, you broke it. dead. like a brick. switched to brave, there were a couple updates, you undid whatever you broke, fine. then a day or two ago, broke it again. not really a fun game. once i am able to move bookmarks over to brave, why do firefox? it takes forever to start, presumably while it sends all my browsing history and downloads to be examined for commercial potential. I can give fire fox a 2 or 3 minute headstart, hit brave, in 10 seconds i can use it, firefox still busy with industrial spying, or something. eating a sandwich? who knows. if there is any way to tell the coders to create a do not change, leave my damn browser alone because it works button, that would be nice. otherwise, its just a weird game for someone i guess, but i dont have time to play.....

Firefox regularly forces me to restart the browser because of background updates being executed. When loading a new page I get: "Restart to Keep Using Firefox - An update to Firefox started in the background...". (see image below) Background updates of Firefox are disabled in the browsers preferences. (see image below) After restarting the browser, I actually noted, that the version is still the same as before (Noticed this the first time today, when taking the screenshot). (see image below) Anyway, it's a really annoying fact which made me and some colleagues almost leaf Firefox, even though I have been forever.

What is causing this issue and how can I stop it?

System:

• Reproducible on other machines
• Machines are not managed remotely
