I want to do a parallax effect combined with a skewY transformation of my HTMLsection. my section therefore has:

a background-image set to fixed a transformation skewY(3deg) it works on all browsers except firefox.

How to make firefox behave like other browsers?

is it possible for example to use an SVG filter for the skewY?

thanks.

Greetings

Currently running 90.0.2 (64-bit) on Xubuntu.

I currently run two Firefox Windows. One is a single tab which contains a dashboard for databases that we are monitoring. The second (on a different monitor) is my "everything else window". When I click a link that is not in a browser (for instance in an email), I want to force the new tab to open in a specific window (the everything else one) or even better, to not open in a specific window (the other one).

Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Trying not to use a different browser to solve this.

TIA

Nigel.

Say I have 14 Firefox windows open with various amounts of tabs in each window; and say two of those windows are maximized. When I start Firefox next time those two windows are maximized (good). But when I hover over the Firefox icon on the taskbar so it shows the little previews of all 14 windows, I only see the content for the two that are maximized. I have to click each minimized window, so that it opens on-screen, in order for the little preview on the taskbar to show the contents of that window, then I minimize it again. Is there a way to either maximize all windows at once, or to make all the little previews show the contents of the windows without having to maximize them? In the attached image I've circled the windows that I haven't clicked yet, so they're still blank. Once I click one the little preview will then show what's in that window, and I can minimize it again. I'm just on a Windows 10 laptop, but I don't know if my hardware has anything to do with the issue. Thank you for any input, and have a great day!

Hello. I'm trying to setup my RSS reader on work pc, which is running Windows 10. The task is to open the URL with automatic reader mode enabled. On my laptop (Ubuntu) I've made it with command 'firefox about:reader?url=%s'. But on Win10 I cannot find CLI options for that. RSS reader gives me the input field to specify the path to firefox.exe, and I wonder if I can use options there. Screenshot's attached below. I've tried to search CLI options on that site, but cannot find that article. Old link (https://www-archive.mozilla.org/docs/command-line-args) haven't got 'reader view' option on it, either. Is there a way to do what I want? Thanks for your help!

I would like to suggest a feature for the hotkeys similar to F6, but I have no idea where is the "suggestion box" for Firefox

What is the link for feedbacks?

My idea Existing shortcuts: Focus Search Bar command + K Focus Address Bar command + L (F6 too)

I discovered that F6 is better coded, because it works like a toggle to focus and unfocus real quick

Even if in a Mac environment it's a bit more tedious to always hold fn button too

So, why not allow cmd K and cmd L to easily toggle on/off too?! :D

Hello, I only use "Top Sites" on my Firefox Home screen. I wanted to change the number of Top Sites on my Firefox Home screen from 4 to 5 rows. I was able to change browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesRows from 4 to 5 rows. It works correctly.

I have a 24" monitor. FF currently has 8 columns. I have room for 10 columns. Is there any way I can change the number of columns from 8 to 10? I don't see any option for that and I have searched for it.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi all. I am using Windows 10 OS and Microsoft Outlook for emails.

When presented with the dialog box for downloading/saving a file, can Firefox directly attach the downloaded file to a blank email using my email client?

I have done a one-line batch file (which seems to work with "open with") that has the command:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\outlook.exe" /a %1

and it seems to work, but is there an official or quicker solution? one that doesn't have to involve browsing for the batch file (having to type * or *.* to not show only .exe/.com files) with the "open with" option?

Alternatively is there a right-click context menu with a "send to" or "email to" that opens the email client and a blank email with the downloaded file already attached? (Or possibly there is a mailto or sendto command that can be selected in "open with"?)

Thank you.

Can Firefox be setup to always open in the same one location and not open in the prior location? I have multiple displays and I want Firefox to always open on the primary display. I often watch training videos and I run those on a second monitor but then if I want another Firefox window it opens over the video. I want it to always open on the main monitor and I'll move it if I want.
