Hallo,

in the recent days, I tried several times to get a new laptop synchronized with the Firefox bookmarks on my main PC. I did it already successfully with my old laptop and with my mobile phone some time ago. But now I have problems, because I cannot confirm my log-in on the new laptop. I am told that I get a mail with the verification code, which I need to enter in 5 minutes. But the mail is alsways received some hours (!!!!) after intitiating it. My email-account is with arcor.de (which is also with vodafone). I found already the advice on your pages, to enter firefox (respective mozilla) on a white list of the provider. But there is no whitelist existing. What can I do now? The five minutes limitation is killing the possibilty to verify my firefox account, if the mail needs hours to reach me. Other mail are coming rather in time.

how do i make my firefox multi account container thing open links from external applications in the container of my choosing, rather than auto opening in no container?

When ever I go into about:profiles, I want to open up one of the root directories, but the button leads to the windows file instead. How do I open the root directory?

I have a problem with css transition since last update. Since last update, css transition on scroll is lagging. Any other browser is doing it fine, firefox was doing it fine too before last update. You can see it, for example, on page https://www.albixon.com/ . On scroll, the page content is sliding smoothly by css transition.

On my new Samsung Galaxy (win11), streamed programmes deliver no sound via the built-in speakers in Firefox, only via plugged-in headphones. In Edge the sound comes via either channel. How do I fix this?

Since the latest update 124.0.2 when I close firefox out and when I reload later it will not load my home page and does not have any of my settings saved. It shows that I am logged out of firefox. I have checked all of my settings but every time I close firefox it will not open to my set homepage and my settings.

I had to reset my computer and lost the bookmarks there. When I reinstalled Fifefox I had to reset my password and lost my bookmarks associated with that email address. HOWEVER, I have firefox installed on my mobile phone with all bookmarks intact. Is there a way to get the bookmarks from my mobile to the laptop?

I am just wondering can you help me with my problem. I am currently doing a ICDL Essentials course with E-College and I am having a problem with ICDL connect as part of the course. It's something about a PSI In-application plugin if you know what I mean by that ??? it won't accept this plugin for some reason, can you help me with this problem please thanks.

I had my computer lost in a fire 2 months ago.

When singing in to Firefox on a new computer, i lost my bookmarks.

I suspect they are somewhere in the data base how can i get them back?

Since yesterday, occassionally while using Facebook or Messenger, the tab crashes. Earlier today on the Messenger side, after reopening the Messenger tab after it crashes, it crashed again. It doesn't occur on other websites and the app doesn't crash, only the tab.

Using Firefox on "troubleshoot mode" doesn't have an issue when accessing when I visit those for a few minutes and with only one or two tabs open, and I'm afraid of visiting these sites for a while because it may crash again. Occurs on both Windows and Mac.

Crashed signature leads to: "js::gc::AllocSite::incTenuredCount", and I have no idea what does it mean. For my Mac the reason for the crash is "EXC_BAD_ACCESS / KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE", while for Windows, reason is "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ".

I will add additional crash IDs from my Windows. Idk what is the problem currently, is it with the add-ons installed, Facebook, or Firefox itself? The RAM is fine.

Hello, I recently created a new sync account for work so I wouldn't have to use my personal sync account. I noticed after creating the new sync account it still retained my passwords from my personal account. Is it safe for me to delete all my personal passwords on the work account or will it also delete those passwords on my personal?

Hi Team,

I have been using firefox for 2 years now at work, logged in to sync the passwords and bookmarks. To my knowledge it seemed to be working fine.

I reimaged my laptop last week and reinstalled firefox and logged into my account and it did not download any of my saved bookmarks and saved passwords.

I suspect it may have been caused by a partially failed initial install of Firefox which may have wiped the data from the account.

Does mozilla keep backups of the profile data? If they do, could my account be restored to the state it was in on Thursday 28 March 2024?
