Windows 10, Firefox 123.0 (64-bit)

It's so bad that I might have to stop using it entirely.

I've tried creating new profiles, disabling all add-ons, and disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection; none helped.

As you can see in the video (about the 00:16 mark) it randomly stops properly loading pages from the website, even in new tabs. The only temporary remedy is to either close and re-open FF, or press Ctrl+F5 (which I did at the end of the video).

I must add that it can happen even when loading the website for the first time in the session.

Title is self explanatory. When I try to take and save a screenshot in my browser, either when right clicking and selecting Take Screenshot or using CTRL + SHIFT + S it always cuts off some of the image I'm trying to take. Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

I had to reinstall windows 10, and then Firefox on my computer, after logging into Firefox on this fresh install (had to reset password), my saved passwords and bookmarks are not there. They still exist on my phone, and my phone is now asking for the new password to start syncing again. If I log in on my phone, will it sync the passwords there to my computer? I am worried syncing will cause the ones on my phone to disappear. Is there any way to export my passwords/bookmarks on the phone(android) to file? As a backup just in case. I logged in on an old computer thinking it would sync, even if it was out of date, but now it also shows 0 passwords saved.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out why Firefox continues to crash on my M-series Mac, when visiting certain websites. I am getting an error, no blob image template [ EXC_BAD_ACCESS / KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS ], on each crash. I've looked this error up, to little avail. Can someone please help diagnose some of these? Hi. I keep several Firefox tabs open and active on my laptop. Inevitably, Firefox slows down after a week or several weeks and would benefit from a Quit / Restart. But then (I think) I would lose my tabs, which would mean a trip to the library to login and get them back. If I do nothing, a superslow Firefox will usually mean my laptop eventually restarts on its own. Then when I open Firefox I see a "Restore Session" option, which brings everything back (I think I see Restore Session because the computer did its own shutdown). So, this does work, but I have a slow computer until the laptop does its own restart. I am wondering if I can initiate my own Firefox Quit / Restart which will give me the "Restore Session" option. I have a problem with firefox notifications for twitter. They appear in a separate window and when I click somewhere, they disappear as if they were in the foreground and hiding. The second thing is clogging and then I get a massive series of delayed notifications. help

When I type "cl" in the address bar, "https://cloud.google.com/" is immediately auto-completed. It's listed above Firefox Suggest (see attached screenshot), and I've got everything but Bookmarks and Open Tabs disabled. I've also deleted all references to "cloud.google.com" from my history.

Where might this suggestion be coming from?

The update to version 123.0 seems to have an issue. When I open a private browsing window, the bookmarks bar does not show. When I select always show, which is already selected ... it will show the bookmarks bar ... but if I go to a site or open a new tab it disappears again unless I select always show again, or hit ctrl shift b ... A fix would be great. Thanks so much

Long time technical, firefox user. One day starting firefox caused the system to slow unacceptably down. No changes before other than a possible background update from v122. Tried to do a Fresh Firefox v123, but firefox is attempting/constant localhost connections (ports in 40k-65k range) (attached screenshot).

It's on a Windows 10 desktop, uninstalled Firefox v123, manually deleted %appdata%\mozilla and %localappdata%\mozilla, reinstalled firefox, as soon as firefox.exe executes, I get constant localhost connection attempts from the "firefox.exe" process (Process Monitor image attached).

Ran dism, it found no system files had issues. Only firefox has an issue, the system is great without it running.

Is this a bug?

What does firefox use the localhost connection for?

Is there a secondary component that is required by firefox that it is not running on execution that it is looking for?

Hi there - Every website seems to come up in English, ie Firefox seems to be translating other languages automatically. (My version is Firefox for Mac 123.01 64-bit.) I am wondering how I can prevent automatic translation of websites. I have had a look in preferences etc, but I do not see anything there to prevent automatic translation. Any help gratefully received! Many thanks :-)

My update preference for Firefox is to download but I will install it. But it consistenly (over the last numerous updates) changes it to Automatic. I do not want Automatic updates. I want to control when it updates. I do not see this issue addressed anywhere. I have checked numerous times. Please help! My sincere thank you for your time and attention to my request for help. Suddenly, your Read Aloud feature no longer works properly: pitch and speed are distorted and can't be normalized. Don't know whether it's the fault of either Mozilla's or OSX's update. Both builds are up to date. Is there an alternative?

Back in November 2023 I had the misfortune of a software engineer not doing his job correctly and he reinstalled the OS on my laptop instead of repairing some software that wasn't functioning correctly. Mercifully, I have had Microsoft support working on recovering my data, which has proved a tremendous task. 4 months and counting.

We have now finally managed to recover my passwords for my browsers, but they are encrypted. Microsoft Support have therefore asked if Mozilla do a decryption tool as they cannot open the file without it being decrypted first. If I was using Microsoft Edge, they would have been able to assist as that is a Microsoft product, but as Firefox is a third party application, they've asked for assistance. By the way, these are NOT scammers or hackers 'helping' me, but Microsoft support and I get everything emailed about our support etc.

Hi, we have had to stop using FF as default browser as it has become unfit for purpose. Daily loses all open tabs when reloading and NO, there is no restore tabs option. It frequently does not completely load pages that open ok in safari. And yes, we have tried numerous fixes in setting, et ceteras Any suggestions? thank you.
