When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

I have configured Firefox to use a proxy, and I stored the credentials in the password manager. However, every time I open Firefox, it asks me to enter the credentials again.

How can I store the proxy credentials persistently?

Why is firefox blocking the paypal popup??? I've tried all the solutions to get it to work, but it still does not work.

Went into Settings/Privacy & Security/Permissions, Block pop-ups and third-party redirects is selected, but I've added http://paypal.com and https://paypal.com to the exceptions

some items are large, some items are TINY. I have tried resetting my display setting scale, but the url bar, the menu where are my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, and some other things re TINY.

Firefox closes my window too fast-feels like after seconds of inactivity. Can I extend to 5 or 10 minutes? I live alone so o no one is going to run in here and get on my computer when I get up to let the dog out.

I use Firefox for genealogy research because it always keeps track of which pages I've previously accessed since their hyperlink will change color. Today, I ran Microsoft's PC Manager software and it suggested clearing the cache of Chrome and Edge. For some reason it also must have cleared the cache of Firefox since the previously accessed hyperlinks are no longer a different color. Since I had a created a restore point this morning before installing PC Manager, I restored the system to that point. Following the restore, Firefox would not open so I re-installed it from the website. I had previously backed up the profile folder and so copied that to the new profile folder of the fresh install. My bookmarks and history seem to be fine but I still don't see a color difference in the previously accessed hyperlinks. Any suggestions on how to get them back would be greatly appreciated.

I recently got a new laptop with Windows 11 Pro. I installed Firefox from the Mozilla site. When I click to open Firefox, it takes a long time - 41 seconds to be exact. I uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted my computer. I cleared the cache. I tried to run as administrator. Not sure what else to try. As I wait for it to open, it reads "not responding" in the search bar area. Any ideas?

I appear to have my bookmarks duplicated. Bookmark Menu list of bookmarks, bookmark 1

                                                           bookmark 1
                                                           bookmark 2
                                                           bookmark 3 etc

At a glance, the repeated bookmarks are the same, but I could have filed a new bookmark in either set. What can I do to stop these duplicates?

i do use ad blockers "experiencing problems find out why "well,of course lol. I know this ,but when i shut down the browser & re launch the browser it won't initiate/execute. not matter what I do. I then run the DISM script and she (firefox) fires back up again. Any insight or work around to fix this this nagging problem would be greatly appreciated. Yeah, windows 11, 32 gig of ram, 60 mps down 75 up.

Starting about a week or two ago, I noticed the text of Firefox is grainy. But when the cursor moved, it would get grainy in a different way. So, some letters which were previously unreadable became readable, but other letters became unreadable.

Going to the same web pages with other browsers renders the page readable. So, the problem seems to be Firefox specific.

Even while typing this, portions of the characters on my screen blink in and out.

If there is no solution, I will have to utilize some other browser.

You did a new mozilla today and my bookmarks and bookmark tool bar are gone everywhere. How do I get back to profile yesterday 2/10/2026. It deleted my settings in TOOLs, Settings. Especially in security, how I want my home screen to look. This is horrible. Help.

Hi, I use Firefox as a primary browser on multiple PCs, so want it to remember a couple of addresses & payment methods for easy daily useage. However, I also access one business domain & when using that website only, I don't want Firefox to offer/remember/anything when it comes to addresses (which will be customer addresses) or payment details (again, for customers). Other autofill, like suggestions for some form fields would ideally still work.

Is there are way to make one domain exempt from address & payment saving/retrieval?

how do you disable or unreaveal when the mouse hovers over the task bar (search bar) at the top while in full screen mode (f-11) to me this annoying when the mouse enters that section of the screen. chrome does not do this. Is there a way to toggle off a switch in a setting? if not, can one be added.

Hi, When I click on a link in ANY email, it says " Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at omxj86ebb.cc.rs6.net. If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

I know I did something to make my computer more secure, but don't remember. Please help! THANK YOU!

I recently went to settings to make sure my default browser on my Windows 11 device was Foxfire. I think I also saw an option to move all tabs over from other browsers, but instead of adding these to my current ones on foxfire, I think it just replace all of the ones I had as they are not in my history any longer either. I went to the 3 lines, to settings, to general, made sure all was checked properly, but it did not help bring the others back!!! help
