Once or twice a day since using my new computer a couple of weeks ago, just while generally browing around the internet, virtually every page that uses 'HTTPS' suddenly stops working. Firefox claims the certificate for the sites aren't recognised and gives the SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER message. Even the https://support.mozilla.org/ pages become inaccessible because they're https as well. Nothing I've come up with can fix this except restarting the machine, which fixes the issue immediately and every site starts working again.

If every https site was constantly blocked, I'd assume it was just my security software's settings and try to change them, but it's weird that the issue pops up occasionally at seemingly random times. Any ideas? An example of the error message and Advanced details is provided below. Apologies that it's not formatted quite as on the original page.

https://support.mozilla.org/1/firefox/60.0.1/WINNT/en-GB/security-error Peer's Certificate issuer is not recognised. HTTP Strict Transport Security: true HTTP Public Key Pinning: false Certificate chain:

I have a Analytics company i support who follows PCI standards and disabled all insecure web cypher's including TLS 1.1 and they are using a RSA 256 with a bit strength of 2048 SSL certificate. All Sites broke when after the Server cypher lock down. All other web browsers work fine. Qualys says our Certificate is fine and it passes PCI. They are using the latest Firefox 60.0.1 (64-bit)

I've trolled Mozilla Support site and unable to find and insights into this odd issue. Sorry if this has been answered on any other ticket!

Thanks,

Once again my account is locked on one of my computers. It says the email was returned but there was no email sent to the address. Oddly, the account is locked on one machine, the one that has been logged on the longest, but my other three machines have no trouble connecting and syncing. This seems to have happened after firefox updated itself (even though I had it set not to. It also removed all the settings I had spent a considerable amount of time customizing)

Where can I download Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR 52) for Windows in order to continue using the Session Manager extension? It's extremely important and vital that I am able to restore my historical sessions and also save multiple sessions going forward.

When I try to download it, I can see it will be 60 version instead.

Unfortunately I mistakenly updated my ESR 52 version today without realizing I'd lose that extension. This is very frustrating, so to alleviate the issue, I'd just like to have the older version and stick with it. Thank you.

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at http://gensokyoradio.net:8000/1/. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing).

I have already set "security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy" to false I have already opened "http://gensokyoradio.net:8000/1/" in another tab, but Firefox did not ask me to add a certificate.

This may be helpful, a warning that appeared before the one above: "Loading mixed (insecure) display content “http://gensokyoradio.net:8000/1/” on a secure page"

I upgraded from Firefox 55 to Firefox 60 today and now I cannot create an email. I am trying to create an email in outlook online. I can see my emails but when I try to create on a popup window comes up but it is completely blank with no header line such as to which contact etc just a white page. I have a windows 7 computer. It was working fine yesterday before I upgraded from 55 to 60. I have closed the browser several times, logged out of outlook and back in again, cleared the cache, cookies and active logins in history but to no avail.

This was my original question that has now been archived. "Today is November 14th and I allowed The download of the promised new and improved Firefox. I HATE IT ALREADY. I have lost 75% of my add-ons. I have lost the extra toolbars where just one extra positionable toolbar would help. There is hardly any options in customizing. I checked the help section where it was suggested it wasn't safe to go back so is it just a case of wait and see if the older add-ons are updated or what. It has been rendered impossible for me to use this for everyday use and I did prefer Firefox over everybody else. "

I received a few different solutions but after trying it for a couple of weeks I decided to wait for updates, that haven't materialized, so now I want to go back. I was given conflicting advice from 'Don't do it' to how to.

I am 70 years old and not completely computer literate and this scares me a little. I'm afraid of losing my add-ons and bookmarks. Could somebody please describe the steps I need to take in plain English. I did get this help last time but it was just gobble-gook to me. Thank you.

Hello all. I work at a university in IT Support. I am trying to assist a customer with her issue of not being able to open PDFs in the online program that she needs in order to complete the submission. She was able to do this previously in Firefox but now cannot (she cannot do this in any browsers now). She repeatedly gets the message: "The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader. For information on how to install Adobe Reader and configure your viewing environment please see http://www.adobe.com/go/pdf_forms_configure." Is there anyone who knows about this problem who has any suggestions? She has the latest upgraded version of Adobe Pro 2017 so she is fine there. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am receiving the "Your Connection is Not Secure" along with the above error code when I try to access my daughters school

https://www.lauraltonhall.org/students/webnetclassroom

The problem seems to have started about the time Firefox upgraded to version 60.0.1

I had been able to get on the site without any issue up until about 2 weeks ago. Contacted the school IT dept. and they say everything is as it should be and no one else is reporting any issues getting on.

This happens with both my work computer and home computer.

It does not happen on Internet Explorer

Thank You

David
