I would like to be able to make sure if a pop-up window is blocked, that I'm being notified about it, but there are no options in settings.

I read through the instructions listed on the help pages and found a message from support from 4 years ago about manually editing the settings, which wasn't helpful.

Are they just on by default now? Or did they get turned off and if so, how do I turn them back on?

(p.s. having something teach you how to do something, this case getting trouble shooting data manually, should open another window, not navigate me away from the page I'm sending this message from)

I've set up a second profile to keep my personal and work browsing separate. When I reopen my non-default profile, it doesn't restore the previous session's tabs. I have "open previous windows and tabs" checked under Settings > General > startup in both profiles. Please advise.

Dzień dobry, W mojej przeglądarce chciałabym skorzystać z czatu GPT, ale pojawia się komunikat, że żeby skorzystać muszę wyłączyć blokadę reklam. Szukałam takiego czegoś w ustawieniach i firefox support, ale nie znalazłam nic co by pomogło w wyłączeniu blokady reklam. Czy mógłby mi ktoś pomóc i pokierować jak mogłabym wyłączyć blokadę reklam? Hi,

Firefox Developer Edition 126.0b7 (64-bit) shows a perpetual "Loading" screen when trying to access my internal Logitec Media Server at 127.0.0.1:9001.

Other browsers like Waterfox Classic have no trouble, so LMS is working fine.

I tried cleaning the cookies, disabling the firewall (Windows 10), that did not help/

Any idea how to solve this?

I want to enable cookies for outlook and google, the rest I dont want.

I have attempted to look at the cookie's url for outlook and add that to the exception list, but outlook still harasses me with its annoying 2fa

How do I find the actual address to put in the exceptions list to stop this issue?

We have an application where we do not want to share the session cookies between tabs. Is this possible? If above answer is yes, next we would like to filter out some cookies by name that should not be shared across tabs. Meaning, we want some cookies that can be shared across tabs and some should not be shared.

Hi, I did a clean install from win10 to win11, then installed firefox and logged in to my account but it havent synced anything? All my saved passwords and bookmarks are gone!?

Can someone please help me get them back! Does anyone have a solution for this?

Read something about that a backup is saved on your computer? Isnt saved to a cloud? Thats what a thought! I have done a clean install on a new drive, old drive i already wiped aswell! Doesnt have a windows.old dir or anything.

Please tell me everything isnt lost!

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

I've got a really old MacBook Pro that's still running 10.13, and Firefox has started displaying a nag screen telling me that this version is no longer supported, and to install a newer version of MacOS.

Is there something in the advanced settings that will stop it nagging me? I now know it's not going to get any more updates, there's no need to keep telling me every 20 minutes...

(Note to the devs: a "don't remind me again" checkbox would be nice for things like this!)

Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

I am trying to use a <select> tag to display a color selector. So each <option> has a background color to match its displayed text:

How can I get Firefox to display the background colors?

So Mozilla supports privacy rights- and I've supported Mozilla for that reason- but they want Whatsapp to be censored for "misinformation" ? How does that go together? Whatsapp was supposed to be encrypted and not even Whatsapp was supposed to know the content of messages. How would they know about misinformation? And how do they get to decide what's misinformation now?

Can someone please answer how to reset firefox size after you've been using a bigger screen and go back to the laptop the top bar is lost way up and I cant catch it to move it to resize the firefox window. Using Fn and F11 to go into maximize mode doesnt help me at all cuz I end up in full screen on the FHD screen but cant grab and drag the window to resize it again - and please NO comments about using FN and F11 again. This is an issue thats been since years - cant figure out why ppl who are tryin to help think others dont know the difference between maximization and the window being bigger than the laptop screen and being lost. So FIREFOX key-shortcut for window size reset URGENT PLEASEEEE - Im having this issue couple times a week. To fix it I gotta go again to the bigger screen reduce the size of the window and then disconnect - which is soooo horrible.
