I accidentally saved a login with the user name blank and the password filled in. of course it does not appear on my saved password list. When I go the website and try to enter my user name on file with the password, Firefox rejects it.

How do I either delete the saved login or edit it to include the correct user name?

I'm using version 117.0.1 (64-bit) just installed Firefox Notes and now that is the only sidebar that appears, my bookmarked favourites sidebar has disappeared. All the help says go to 'View' check the sidebar for favourites if checked always on, fine but where is 'View' I have been through every dropdown i can find and there is no 'View'

Firefox Notes looks useful but not at the expense of losing my favourites sidebar.

I tried to connect to a website and I received the message in the subject. I have been connecting to that web site for months on Firefox with no trouble. I connected without problems using Firefox just yesterday. After the Firefox problem, I connected without problems to the same web address using Microsoft Edge. I don't understand why Firefox suddenly has this problem.

I have clicked the 'always ask where to save download' box, but the save files to downloads is still active. How do I get it to ask me where to download to every time?

I am trying to access a site for a public utility in Israel, with the country-level domain .il. Firefox continually reports this as '403 forbidden'. I've cleared the cache, which did not solve the problem, but am reluctant to take other measures since I don't know their side effects.

Is this an anti-Israel setting created within Firefox as part of a BDS campaign? Or has the system been hacked by BDS supporters or similar.

When opening Firefox, I downloaded a random file called 9Xjh-hy_.htm. the file weighs 0B and is empty when opened. I don't know what this file is and whether it is a virus or not.

If I want to read a Pocket article, it asks me to sign in to Firefox. When I put in my user name, it does not advance beyond this page: https://accounts.firefox.com/oauth/signin?client_id= . . . I'm guessing that it may be allowing cookies, but it looks like cookies for Firefox and Mozilla are being allowed. Can you assist so I can save a Pocket story?

I think I have looked through all of the troubleshooting suggestions for loading / importing old Firefox Bookmarks following a new Windows install.

- I did not have Mozilla Sync turned on. - My new install of Mozilla doesn't have restore points from my old install / program files. - My old SSD is accessible, however, User folder directories don't have the 'AppData/' folder directory. - Of course, I didn't think about / have a chance to create a manual restore point prior to my computer's crash.

Copying over my old Mozilla parent directories from my old SSD directory to my new SSD directory, hasn't restored prior Mozilla settings / bookmarks.

Does Mozilla store bookmarks anywhere else ?

The google search bar on the home page has increased in size and my extensions/add on such as cache cleaner and adblocker do not appear on the toolbar even though they are turned on. I tried refreshing Firefox but that did not solve the problems. Thank you

I recently "downgraded" from macOS Ventura back to macOS Monterey on my 2019 Macbook Pro. Is there a way to migrate all the Firefox bookmarks and login/password info that I had prior to the downgrade? I made a complete backup of the computer prior to the downgrade, but I can't find any folders with this info on the backup, just the Firefox application. I didn't make the .html or .csv files of the bookmarks or login info prior to the downgrade--didn't think it would require such steps to migrate the old info.

The display shows some icons on the last tabs I opened but it seems only some basic website layout is loaded but all the details are gone. Like text, button borders, even the exit, fullscreen and minimize buttons. I have seen that this has been an issue for quite some time before so I am looking if there is a fix or a workaround. I have and Nvidia graphics card and drivers if that means anything. And my swap file is 20 GB and my RAM is 16 so the space shouldn't be a problem. It gets fixed when I turn off Firefox but not when I refresh tabs.

The crazy thing is that when I take a screenshot inside firefox (with firefox integrated screenshot option, like when I press right click and then take screenshot. I can see the text so it seems like it is a display problem but this only happens with firefox and not other apps.

Appreciate all the help. I will ask of ubuntu formums next if I don't find a solution here.

On my work laptop, I disabled "Recommended by Pocket" to avoid distractions.

On my personal laptop, that setting is already enabled. But I never see any stories recommended by pocket when I open a new tab. What can I do about this?

I have many hundreds of Bookmarks, maybe thousands, in a lot of Folders. However, a search will NOT find a Folder with the Search name.

Is there any way to get around this omission?

How do I get back a previous session of Firefox (windows)? Firefox froze up. I restarted my computer. Now my session in Firefox doesn't show up at all in 'History'. Isn't there a way to recover a previous session?? I've never had this issue before and had a lot of important tabs in that session that would take many hours to try and find in my complete history from all links.....

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. When Firefox is launched to maximized, the Windows Taskbar does not display when the Taskbar is set to Hide. Firefox takes over the entire screen. When I use two monitors and Firefox is on the second monitor it the toolbar is visible.

How can I stop this from occurring?

recently i upgraded firefox to version 117.0.1. Soon after that when i close my firefox window and later than open new session, the old tabs do not reopen. This is even when i have "Open previous windows and tabs" option checked in general section of firefox setting. attached is the screenshot for the same. pls help.
