Hello everyone! I am new here, and this is my first question. So, please help me out and leave an answer for me. I would really appreciate it if you did so.

I was at the Firefox settings, and on the location permission settings, there was a web address requested my location and it started with "moz-extension://." I can easily guess that it is from the Mozilla Extension, but I was curious and wanted to know what it was and where it came from exactly. But I wasn’t allowed to copy and paste. Therefore, I am asking you guys. I have only been using the Firefox browser for a few days, so my knowledge about it is like a blank sheet of paper, and you guys are welcome to write anything and everything on it, and I will learn from it. So, please come and give me a helping hand. Thank you.

My laptop needed to be completely reset to its beginning stage. I did not have the opportunity to save any bookmarks before this happened. Is there any opportunity under my login to recover these bookmarks now?

My laptop was stolen. In my new laptop I try to open all my sync tabs at once, but I can't. I signed in, I see all the sync tabs under the "sign out", but how can I open them all at once? I read that I should right click the devise name to do that, but I can't right click it.

After using gnome-tweaks to change my system fonts, Firefox has unexpectedly gone silent and no longer shows text in areas like the search bar, tabs, settings, bookmarks, and menus. Rendering websites works just fine, but Firefox itself won't show any text.

I am using Firefox on a desktop and recently upgraded to 112. I have been trying for the last 6 months to SHORTEN the address bar (NO, I do NOT use Search on Firefox) and cannot find an answer anywhere. I am completely exasperated at all controls Firefox has taken away from users the past few years and this is the final straw before I leave you. PLEASE tell me how to REALLY shorten the god-awful length of the url bar so I can see more addons ON the desktop. Thank you very much.

Everytime I try to access myAir.resmed.com I get a blank screen. When I do it with google chrome it works. Something set wrong in settings but can't find it.

I've only just recently had this issue: If I'm not already in full screen mode on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.3.1), then I can enter and exist YouTube's full screen mode just fine. But if I'm already in full screen mode with the browser, then after going full screen with a YouTube video I can't exit. I can exit the full screen window, but then the video stays in full screen with no menu bar available etc. Instead I have to close Firefox and open again. See the attached image - I can change the size of the window but only the video screen appears. I can still use shortcuts (ctrl+tab) to navigate tabs etc.

Anyone know how to stop floating videos on Firefox anyone know how to stop floating videos on Firefox 112.0.1? This just started happening 2 days ago. Dailymail.com is the worst. No problem at all if I use Edge. I do have ghostery but Daily Mail gives popup saying to disable my ad blocker. Strange, because I also have ghostery on Edge. Again, no problem using Edge, just Firefox. Drives me up a wall.

My former Mac Air has been stolen. I have a Firefox account and just downloaded it as the browser on my new Mac Air. Is there a way to access saved Bookmarks from my former computer?

Firefox provides no way in the UI to remove the garbage. It may also be responsible for F-fox leaving numerous .part files on my mac desktop.

Running 112.0.1. (Mac, Monterey).

Maybe revert to 111?

I need to be unsubscribed from all email marketing and miscellaneous communications from Mozilla. I keep getting this error message when trying to unsubscribe, and it has been happening for multiple days now.

Are your passwords, credit card accounts and email vulnerable by visiting an unsecured site if you are just looking at the site? i.e. not entering any such info.

I want to do a refresh of my firefox profile for it was overwriten with another profile or it was combined with another profile. So how can I start from scratch without my current profile been overwritten by what is stored on the cloud.

Every once in a while I'll visit a website that, even tho you scroll to what you think is the bottom of the page, when you approach that point, you see the scroll button jump up, and there is further room to scroll.

It happens occasionally on YouTube, but elsewhere as well.

I think I remember somewhere that there is a workaround for this, but first I want to understand if this is by design, perhaps because it's a way of restraining the given site from loading too much content at one time, causing CPU overload, leading to related issues.

I can login to the KeyBank website, but can't see my account details with Firefox browser (when I can with Chrome browser). I get 'This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page.'

What configuration setting do I adjust if I want to change the font size of only the tabs and toolbar text, not the text of the window / body (managed with Windows' "Make text bigger" option)? I've made the text of the tabs and toolbar large enough for my taste, yet that same setting make the text for everything else in the browser way too big. I'd rather not download a third-party extension as the solution as that implies third-party data gathering. Thank you.

The old ff had a list of drop down menus at the top. File, Edit, View, Bookmarks, Tools. I know it can be pulled up by hitting the alt key but is there a way to Keep it there permanently always available

First came the Linux upgrade and with it the enforced new Firefox version. The new Firefox appeared "raw" with none of my previous settings. I am having trouble filling in the Firefox toolbar and recovering things like "most visited" sites listing and many others. There must be a common sense limit to the "happy developers'" ideas.
