Every once in a while, maybe once or twice a week, I'll press Cmd+L to highlight the address bar, type a URL for a new website, and press enter, and instead of going to that new website Firefox just reloads the current page. It seems that this happens exclusively when the current website is gmail.com. (I might be wrong) I can't remember it happening on any other website. This problem has been occurring for me for the past year at least. Any recommendations?

Firefox goes to eBay Portugal instead of eBay USA. In order to complete a specific task, I had to use Edge browser to get there. Why does it do that? How do I fix it?

When I press the pause button on my keyboard, it doesn't stop the YouTube video like it used to. I'm not sure why it stopped working. I've checked the key, and it works fine in Chrome.

For several sites, when i check 'trust this device' it doesn't work. next time i signin it still requires 2fa from the site. i've checked and the certificates do exist as i get a message saying already exists when i try to import. this is a very user hostile function. I do not have this issue with Chrome or Microsoft Edge!!!!! i hate to begin using one of these vs Mozilla Firefox to get around this but i may have to do so. my wife and i share access to critical sites so if i need to see her info or she needs to see mine, we both have to be available in order to access the site. Mozilla Firefox 'bug' is requiring us to do so and it doesn't satisfy our requirements. any ways to solve this issue is greatly appreciated. so far no 'searched' solutions work.

Firefox can take screenshots of pages or screenshots of custom areas of pages.

According to the documentation, when we download the image, the filename should follow the pattern: Screen Shot yyy-mm-dd at hh.mm.ss.png. If I use the :screenshot at the console, the pattern works as documented.

But Firefox is using a different pattern when I choose Take Screenshot from the context menu. The pattern includes the page's title. Example: Screenshot 2024-04-14 at 18-35-16 General ‹ Settings ‹ Geomaster Lda — WordPress.png.

Since the page title can have non common filename characters, I have problems with such filenames. My uploads to MediaWiki fails with such filenames. I know I can report or improve MediaWiki, but my question here is quite simple.

Can I change the Firefox's default pattern for Take Screenshot's downloads?

When searching with google it always opens a new Tab with some not working Address. Whether i just search or click on pictures or look at a picture more in detail it always opens this tab: Look at picture: At this point it is really annoying and in the settings of the browser i don't seem to find a solution. I can't access my Virgin e-mail. I sign in with usual e-mail and password, then click and the link just doesn't work. The same when I ry to access my Virgin account details. Sign in and the links just don't work. It was fine yesterday, but there has been another Mozilla 'Update' which has 'Broken' the Virgin site! Can I roll back to the previous version of Firefox? There does seem to be an awful lot of updates; every few days it sems. Why?

I did an hardreset to my computer yesterday, today I logged in to my FireFox account and now all of my stuff (History, Passwords, Bookmarks) are from 2020. I don't have any backup, what do I do?

Every time I open a new tab, another extra tab opens automatically with the following address: https://0.0.0.1/

showing this message: An error occurred during a connection to 0.0.0.1.

I already re-installed Firefox but this bug keems popping up.

Whenever i encounter a reCAPTCHA, and click "i am not a robot", the wheel keeps spinning and spinning and spinning. I never get to the screen where i have to verify images or a check mark. Just started happening randomly.

I've spent hours searching. Tried every single solution-new profile, erased firefox and reinstalled, troubleshoot mode, firefox refresh, turned tracking protection off, changed network settings, reset wifi adapter, you name it i tried it. I need to get past reCAPTCHA's for work. Getting so frustrated. Please help!

One important point-the only other browser i have on my laptop is Microsoft edge and it' works perfectly on Edge!

Hi, I have been using firefox for many years and never showed me an UAC popup requiring permissions to update firefox as soon as i clicked the firefox icon in the taskbar. Today suddenly required it. I am administrator in windows 10, and have automatic updates enabled as always. I am using 125.0.3 (64-bit) version. This could be a bug or a virus? i am worried that could have given permission to a virus to install something else when i pressed the firefox icon.

I've recently had a little video window appear in the bottom right corner of my browser screen. I can't find any control link to eliminate it other than closing it manually every time it appears. Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?

In recent weeks a PopUp is appearing on my Outlook.live.com Hotmail screen: "Add Outlook.live.com as an application for mailto links? There is no choice to Decline only to Add it. You can Close the link with the X but it keeps returning each time I log in.

We are cautioned repeatedly not to click on unknown links so I haven't.

Could someone please explain in "layman terms" why I am getting this, what it's for and how to stop it?

We have an electronic document management system in our company. The system is an internal system without access to the LAN. Firefox detects files downloaded from it as potentially dangerous after the last update. Is there a way to prevent files from this website from being detected as potentially dangerous?

I've just noticed a "Tree Of Tabs" option. I right-clicked a dozen tabs, hit Bookmark This Tree. The webpages disappeared. Now I can't find them, and they're not listed anywhere in history or recently closed tabs.

Hello guys, so in the past 2-3 days i started facing Cross-Origin Request Blocked for a lot of websites lets take chatgpt for example, if i visit it i get:

and its getting so annoying that its blocking a lot of websites, i tried chromium it works fine and works awesomely no cors no problems. I even tried to disable the firefox protection, dns over https on/off, change my main dns upstream, installed firefox developer, compete uninstall/reinstall, cache clear from installers and from firefox it self nothing is working. I will provide firefox developer edition troubleshooting information but keep in mind it doesnt work on both firefox normal and developer

Please any help would be appreciate it.
