For the Inbox (main) window:

• Choosing File::Close does nothing.
• Typing Cmd-W flashes the title of the File menu but otherwise does nothing.
• The only way to close the window is to click its red close button (upper left).

Thunderbird 116.0, 115.10, 115.08 and earlier Mac OS 114.5 and earlier

We have had thunder foe a few weeks now and have been very happy with it. Today it suddenly stopped sending and receiving emails. I have checked the help page but am struggling to figure out how to fix. Can you please help. Cheers Colin

I use Thunderbird to check the 15 different email accounts that I have to respond to. On the 4th of June it just quit sending or receiving emails. I tried deleting some of my emails but it hasn't helped. Do you think I haven't deleted enough or would there be another reason for it to quit working.

Hello, Since a couple of weeks I'm facing a strange issue on my Firefox installed on my desktop (arch linux) where the suggestions window that appears when clicking the URL address bar, is shifted upwards and covers the address bar itself and the majority of the bookmarks. Has anyone experienced a similar issue and is able to point me towards some troubleshooting steps? Thanks!

I'm on Windows 11 Pro 23H2. This is a pristine installation, downloaded from mozilla.org, default settings, no add-ons. - Firefox 126.0.1. - There are no cookies, history or cache to clean, since it's a fresh installation. - Connection settings is set default to "Use system proxy settings", although I've also tried setting it up to "No proxy", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change. - DNS over HTTPS is set default to "Default protection". I've also set it to "Off", then restarting Firefox completely, then trying again with a new domain. No change.

I don't what else to try and I don't know what's wrong with Mozilla Firefox.

basically just the title. In the last couple days youtube.com specifically has been borderline unusable for me on firefox. All other websites work fine for me on firesfox and youtube has no issues on other browsers.

I opened Thunderbird this morning and there were no issues. Closed it and just now reopened and I'm getting this message: Thunderbird detected a potential security threat and did not continue to live.thunderbird.net. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

It downloaded 28 emails but will not let me see/access them.

I see that others have had the same problem as me. My trash folder has many thousands of duplicate emails. If I block delete them it will take days to complete. So 3 questions 1. How do I stop duplicate emails in my trash. After deleting many reappear with the date 01/01/1970 2. Is there a faster way of deleting. I use select email>shift key>find last email>delete 3. Is there a limit to how many emails I can put into the block mentioned in #2

During the past week, my open tabs will crash when I try to open them. All new tabs will crash. There are no crash reports. I cleared my cache but retained cookies. My temporary fix is to close and reopen Firefox. That works until I open another new tab.

On my main Firefox screen, I have a tab to Office 365. When I click on the tab, there is a series of icons on the left side, including Outlook. Until recently, clicking on the Outlook icon would bring up all my Outlook emails with the blue envelope first bobbing up and down with new emails. Now, for no apparent reason, when I click on the Outlook icon, all that happens is that another tab for Outlook shows up near the top of the screen; nothing more. And when I click on the tab, nothing happens. I think somehow some interference is keeping me from seeing my main Outlook screen. What can I do to restore the visibility of my Outlook program?

I am experiencing an issue where the Firefox browser on my Xiaomi Redmi 13C device running the HyperOS Android 14 operating system is consuming a very high amount of system resources, particularly CPU and RAM. This is causing my device to heat up significantly and draining the battery life at a faster rate.The specific problems I'm facing are: 1.Firefox requires special permissions and settings to function properly on my Xiaomi Redmi 13C device with HyperOS, such as exempting it from battery restrictions or granting it "autostart" permissions. Without these settings, the app crashes or doesn't work correctly. 2.However, when I grant these special permissions to Firefox, the app then starts consuming an excessive amount of CPU and RAM resources, much more than my other browsers like Chrome or Brave. 3.According to the system monitor, the Firefox processes are consuming the following resources: RAM 372M, CPU 39.0% Process "org.mozilla.firefox:tab12" RAM 742M , CPU 20.0% Process "org.mozilla.firefox" 4.This high resource consumption by Firefox leads to my Xiaomi Redmi 13C device overheating and the battery draining faster, negatively impacting the overall user experience. I have tried various troubleshooting steps, such as clearing the app's cache and data, using a lighter version of Firefox, and checking for updates, but the issue persists. Hi, Before I try to refresh Firefox to fix an issue with Youtube pages not loading properly (I've tried everything else), I need to know whether or not my open windows and tabs will be preserved. Thanks in advance!

In Windows 10, Audible throws this error:

An Error Occurred An error occurred during processing. Please close this window and try again.

Other browsers are fine. Other media in Firefox such as BBC Sounds are fine. I cleared the history, then reset Firefox. I thought it might be an issue with the latest Realtek driver, but I could not roll back all Realtek drivers. So I installed an Asus DS Xonar 7.1 PCI soundcard. This shows exactly the same problem.

All messages that I delete,send ,archive and drafts, simply disappear without a trace.For years this worked well !Tried downloading and reinstalling Thuderbird without success.
