Firefox for Android not retaining login

I use a Huawei phone, native to China. All settings are United States and America for location and language. Also, I am a 20+ knowledgeable computer technician with significant Android experience.

I have logged into my account using the scan process from the desktop application. Regardless of my efforts to have the FireFox Android app retain the profile, when I exit the provisioning screen I am logged out.

Additionally, in settings I am presented with an option to "Use domestic China services", which I turned off. Again, I all settings for location and language are United States and English (US).

This feels like an aggressive malevolent effort to persuade me to uninstall FireFox and select an alternate default browser. Very frustrated.

'Please make whatever changes necessary to enable users to associate their profile as appropriate, without forcing them to use an unfamiliar language, and preventing them from connecting with their desktop account.
