A web based document management system is being used; and can be used in all three browsers. Most of our users use Firefox because in IE or Chrome there is a pop up based on Java when users use the Direct Scan feature, from a connected scanner. Intermittently Firefox will stop working. We check Java, uninstall, reinstall and set the correct settings, clear the temporary files in java and clear the browser cache. In all browsers - IE and Chrome the application works again without incident . In Firefox the reset takes about a day to take effect. The users have to switch to IE/Chrome and the next day they can use Firefox again. Has anyone else seen this lag or know if this is an isolated issue to the work environment?
