You need to go to google play to upgrade and get the latest version
It may depend on how you installed, or where the app comes from. It will usually tell you in its "About" dialog, or if managed by your system in either the package updates or a store if your OS uses one.

This is about desktop Firefox on Linux and not about Firefox for Android.

If you are using the official tarballs from Mozilla then you can do internal updates in Firefox. However if you are using a package build of Firefox then that is not updated by Mozilla.
