Pop-ups, how do I get RID of them? (I have the pop-ups blocked, no help)

I have windows (mozilla windows) that pop up ALL THE TIME! If I click on something to type in "pop-up window" if I click on a link "pop-up window", if I am typing something out "pop-up window" if I hit a button while trying to fill something out "pop-up window". NON-STOP I can count up to roughly "10" pop-up windows today alone. And it is a blank (white) pop-up window.

I have the pop-up block option already checked. I am getting really sick and tired of it. If it can't get fixed, I'll be ditching this browser.

Also, firefox is slow at loading stuff.

hello BrassEagles, please try these steps:

  1. reset firefox (this wil keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.

I would uninstall Mindspark and wildtangent plugins first. Also scan with Adwcleaner and Malwarebytes. It looks like you got some sort of semi-working adware.
