When running firefox, another window develops (I don't think it is a popup) with the following address: "http://www.browser-fast.com/Firefox/". I says that version 24 is not up to date etc. and to download and run a .exe file. It is very confusing because the "browser-fast" site uses your firefox icon and fonts like mozilla uses. I checked the help menu in the Firefox browser under "about Firefox" it lists version 24. I then googled for the latest version of firefox. Anyway this keeps coming, I use spybot search and destroy for adware but nothing comes up.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

Doesn't ESET have the capability of blocking that website?

Your Firefox is up to date. Don't download that thing.

When you want to download Firefox you should always download it from Mozilla official site www.mozilla.org

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Please report that website as a fraud, the legal team might be able to get them to at least stop using the official logo.

If you read the light-grey footer on that web page:
