When Firefox won't allow me on the internet, I have to uninstall and reinstall---but I have to use Internet explorer to get the downland (thankfully). Why?
First why does Firefox stop allowing me on the internet--it happens about every 4-6 weeks? Second I have to uninstall and reinstall the most current version to get it working again--why doesn't it update automatically? If I didn't have Internet Explorer I would be screwed because I couldn't even get to the internet to get the new download.

Are you using any proxy server?
Which antivirus are you using?
Disable your antivirus and check it out..
