FF asks me to "allow" every time I try to open a link in a new tab.

Everytime I click on a link, which should open as a new tab, I get a blank screen and am required to "allow." This happens even in the same account, such as going from gmail to my google calendar. I added adblockplus and donttrackme, which might have caused it, but even after I uninstalled the same thing continues to happen. Any ideas how to prevent the allow requirement?

ok, you can disable these warnings, when you go to firefox > preferences > advanced > general > warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

hello pigtail, what's the exact wording of the message you get asked to confirm?

Hi. Thanks for responding. It says "firefox has prevented this page from redirecting to another page" on the left in a black bar at the top, with a white oval "allow" button on the right.

Well that was easy. I thought I did that already. Thank you for the help.

The new Firefox does not have the drop downs you describe. They have to be here somewhere!!!

Ignore that! Finally found it!
