The new Download button in Firefox wreaks havoc with my sensory processing disorder (causing migraines) - can I get rid of it but still see my Download List?

My processing disorder means that certain animations and graphic effects cannot be properly processed by my visual processing centre. The new Download button is causing migraines. It is the same effect I experienced when I tried watching 3D movies or TV.

I have been able to remove the Download button, but now the Download List is nowhere to be found.

Is there some way I can access that, without having to reactivate the Download button and feeling like my breakfast lunch and dinner are all coming up for air?

I'm so sorry that the downloads button is causing this problem :(

You can use the hotkey Ctrl + J to open the downloads tab.

If you want the old download manager back, go to about:config, click the I'll be careful, I promise! button. Then search for "download", and set the browser.download.useToolkitUI preference to true (double-click it).

Hope this helps :)
