For the past week or so, some of the words don't seem to fill in making reading text difficult. Hard to explain, but it's like the printing doesn't load fully so the printing isn't clear.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Try to set the gfx.content.azure.enabled pref to false or if this didn't help disable Direct2D by setting the gfx.direct2d.disabled pref to true on the about:config page and leave hardware acceleration otherwise enabled.

Disabled the hardware acceleration and that seemed to help. Haven't seen the problem again so far, but will keep an eye out and try the next thing if it comes back.
