I am trying to open a link from a website. When I click it, 2 tabs with the same site open. It's only on a few links. How can I fix it?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I figured out what happened. There was a glitch on the page that made everything appear twice, like a mirror. That made things come up multiple times. I managed to fix it. Thanks!
