The right side of a web page is cut off by the margin of my monitor, and there is no left-right scroll bar to let me view it.

On some web pages, I have no way to see the right side of the page. It's cut off by the edge of my monitor, and there's no left-right scroll bar across the bottom to let me view it. Many websites are too wide for my monitor to show the whole page at once, but usually the scroll bar lets me move to the right. On some sites, for instance coursera.org, there's no scroll bar, and there is no way I know of to see the right side of the page.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems article.
