XPATLCOM downloaded by itself. what is it, and why is it supposed to be alright for this without permission?
I already read this question, though it went unanswered;
I was using FF4 earlier on a Windows 7 PC and this file was reported by Norton Internet Security as having being downloaded. As it was not intentionally downloaded by me, can you tell me if it is to do with Firefox and what it does?

Hi activedream
Do you have Yahoo!Toolbar ? Try to uninstall it, if you have it, and check it again.
thank you
Hi ideato. I did have yahoo toolbar installed, but I disabled it right after install, as far as I can remember. I searched before and after uninstalling the toolbar, but the program can't be found with the search available from the start menu. I did copy the file to the desktop. The search found that instance of the file, but not the original. I wonder if it is handled. I will uninstall things from now on instead of just disabling them. Programs running my computer against my will really bug me. Why is Windows taking away our choices?
