I have a 17 inch screen. It has shrunk to about 12inches! Why?!

There is not much more that I can tell you. I turned off my laptop and when I turned it back on, my screen had shrunk. I do not know why this has happened.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

You can also try this:

  1. Open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut (right-click: Properties)
  2. Go to the Compatibilities tab
  3. Put a mark before "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" to see if that has effect.
