middle click to load url now demands http://

I just upgraded from Firefox 3.5 (from Debian Lenny) to Firefox 4.0rc1. I noticed an annoying change in behaviour: I often use the middle click in a window to directly open an URL from the copy/paste buffer, and since the upgrade I have to it no longer accepts URLs in the form "domain.com/foo/bar": a "http://" prefix is now required. :-(

Yeah, I finally jumped to 4, and noticed this right away. I often find myself fruitlessly middle-clicking the page. I'd love to have the old behavior reinstated.

We need this fixed!

This is the same as my issue over here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/801625
