my favorite website for guitar related anything has lately not been rendering as it should. im not sure if its because of an update or what but i would like to not have to go and use IE7 or safari just to use the site

Try clearing the cache and deleting cookies for the site, this can sometimes help with accessing a site that previously worked. For details see how to clear the cache and deleting cookies.

You can start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

turns out it was a filter i set with adblock plus a while back, and since the site has changed it filtered out the previously disposable part of the site
