Search field does not submit search

After installing the FF 4.0b8 (in parallel with 3.6.1.2) the search field no longer works, tried starting it in safe mode but the same behaviour there.

It works perfectly in 3.6.12 with Google, Wikipedia and IMDB search engines enabled.

Anyone know where this "glitch" is coming from? It's quite annoying as I probably use the Ctrl+K key 100+ times per day ;)

You can try to delete search.sqlite and search.json in the Firefox Profile Folder

It was the formshistory.sqlite file which was corrupted.. Opening it in the SQLite manager and rebuilding tables and indexes solved the problem.
