how do I turn off auto complete?

I want to turn off the setting to remember information when typing it on a site. Example: when filling in my credit card number for making a purchase, I don't want the system to prompt me to what I typed in previously.

Tools > Options > Privacy > History: [ ] "Remember search and form history"
