Having lots of problems with my thunderbird e-mail.
When I use Thunderbird to send an e-mail, i Hold down the key to include more than 1 name and it auto goes to the 'to' line, i want it to go to bcc. so i have to put the curser on the bcc line for each name. Before nothing happened until i pressed bcc for all the names and then send. It also adds names from a second file and I delete these names and it is right back, very frustrating.

What key? I think you best explain exactly what you are doing like I am a 4 year old.
When I address mail, I start typeing, select the entry in the displayed list and then start typing again.
If I use the contacts sidebar in the compose window (f9) I click the Add to buttons at the bottom of the pane to ensure they go where I want them. Especially with the new version being fixated on not displaying a BCC choice first up.
SO I need an explanation as to what you are actually doing.

Hi Matt, Thank you for your quick reply. When sending an e-mail, i hold the control down and hit my list individually, as to who I want to send to. Also when holding the control down, i hit the 'bcc' initially, and as i am starting with each highlighted name, after a few names it pops in to the 'to' column. It all goes to the 'to' person, not to the 'bcc' before i am finished highlighting the names. Also i use 2 columns in my address book, my major column ( being personal address book) has names from the secondary column, (collected addresses,) pop into the major column automatically, weird. I then delete the unwanted name and next time i email it pops back into the unwanted column. Is this clear for you to understand my delemma? Thanks Wayne
perhaps you need to lift your finger off the Ctrl key before you click add to BCC. I would not be clicking on the BCC button at all in that scenario as there is a perfectly good button in the address panel to use to add them to the BCC list.
