On Windows 11 - I keep getting logged out of Firefox after I close down. Then, when I enter my password to log in I get two emails with the same code and then two log in screens and duplicate emails to confirm login. I can only see one profile set up. I have not got automatic removal of history etc set. This does not happen on my Android devices. Any advice please as is getting more than frustrating!

I do not want to use an authenicator app. I want to use my mobile phone number for two-step authenication.

No after resetting and getting notification what password is not correct makes me guess something is off. i might be wrong but looks like internal problem, maybe a breach what no one knows. what can i say from my side, as an IT company director and IT person. i can exclude all my thoughts about my side, since i changed and reinstalled everything on my devies. got fresh OS and hardened every device. problem still exists. maybe someone could check my accounts and internal settings for firefox security on accounts and MFA. since codes are not valid. had to disable mfa on my both accounts.

I was testing a new website for a developer. I wanted to see if DNS worked correctly on various browsers. I downloaded Firefox and the test was OK. However, something happened with Yahoo and Facebook, apparently those sites think I am on another device. Where I have to log in, something with second level authentication was off, after several attempts I am now locked out. I suspect a Firefox setting is the problem. Suggestions on how to reset firefox?

I tried to login to Autodesk for some discussion about file retention, etc. I logged in using my user id and password and then Autodesk sent me a code as a two factor identification function. When the page opened the place to enter the code it looked like the image that I have attached. I could not enter the code supplied by Autodesk as FireFox kept trying to get me to do something with email masks. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Are you guys going out of your way to make this a pain in my ass?
Do you have some way I can use an authenticator or Yubi key?
Do I H A V E to use 2nd factor? I have a password manager with unique strong passwords. I feel like you guys are living in the 90 when passwords was new and rotating passwords was concidered best practice.
and why is it that many websites do not function properly unless I am logged into my mozilla account? Youtube especially doesn't function right unless I am logged into Mozilla with my firefox browser. Are you guys tracking me?
all this to say please make it easier to login to my browser profile. This should not be a 12 step process.
